How can you read the Gospels and not realize that Jesus's whole point is that God will bring justice on the last day, not the current day?

        take an outside perspective then.
which sounds cooler: a man rebelling against everyone, and basically being a lowly pathetic bandit of sorts (barrabas fits here, he and the other two were such rebels. if israelites helped when they got to their houses, they were fine, if they didn't, they attacked and robbed them); or a man who knows their enemy is not doing it on purpose, and if is, not by choice, and therefore shows kindness in response to aggression, to help the enemy see where they're wrong, and help them. (for a nice example besides the perfect one that is Christ, take Daniel. the king really started to veer toward God seeing Daniel's faith and the miracles that God made. Nebuchednezzar was more hardened of heart, like Pharaoh, but you could say he had his own steps in aswell; and also see how God can act even through such men, turning their evil to a better end.)
you're supposed to wish the well-being of your enemies because they are men, made in the image of God, just like you.
they're just in the wrong path.
Daniel again here. worked, helped, everything, but did not bow before the king nor their idols.

that's not to say being aggressive does not have its place. self-defense, for an example.
        rebuking sin, for another.

And those slaves conquered the world, did they not?

In a very greedy un-Christian way yes, nonetheless we now live in a pathetic slave world because of it.

As opposed to the roman religion, that pushed hordes of men to fight and die for fat shitheads back home and had them worshipping one of these fat shitheads as a god because he threw them some crumbs.

If I go to confession, I am forgiven for whatever I do. Since you don't go to confession you aren't forgiven, and you go to hell and not me.

If I shoot my enemy trying to hurt me then confess to a priest and pray the penance, I am forgiven. The priest absolves me of all sins.

That’s why Jeffrey Dahmer is in Heaven right now hahahaha that’s why “Christians” sin all day long just so they can go to church Sunday and be forgiven so they feel they have zero consequences for their actions

          >this again
If your repentance is not sincere then your absolution is invalid. If you sin consciously because you think you can just confess it away later, God will not forgive you. If you convert/confess on your deathbed from fear of death, God will not forgive you.

    gospel of thomas says:

    (100) They showed Jesus a gold piece and said to him: Caesar's men demand tribute from us. He said to them: What belongs to Caesar, give to Caesar; what belongs to God, give to God; and what is mine, give it to me.

which makes a lot more sense and makes the gnostic text credible

The bible says so many stuff that you can find something that supports it

    > For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

No you can certainly disobey authority but ONLY if you’re doing it in the name of God and for no other reason because what is God’s has not been rendered to him

    > So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” : Acts 4:18-20

No? Give the government its rightful due, and give God His. Jesus makes no comment on what constitutes rightful government, he's just delineating his message of God's primacy from any discussion about rightful secular rule.

He means that currency is property of the state by default. The separation of Church and State is wise, and Jesus was a very wise man

Jesus and the Bible said you do what you can handle. And what you can handle you should go double. And your brother you should forgive 7x77 times.
So you are supposed to just do that.
Jesus never mentions that if you explode then you should do that. But that's just what people do that couldn't do the first stuff.
Whatever you do, you should do it for the Lord. If you are patient, then do it for the Lord. If you sinned, then you do it for the Lord. But never say, I didn't sin, when you sinned. Unless the enemy first attacked you, and it was self defense.
