>Texas Sharpshooters Fallacy
None of my drawings nor descriptions were even close to the picture.
Did you actively imagine things or did you try to quiet your mind and note spontaneous impressions?
I sat for like 30s and wrote the first thing that came to mind, usually an animal. Can't say I was actively imagining things, but idk maybe.
Try again, but this time describe everything using adjectives. And do the automatic sketch too.
my descriptions were:
>downwards pointing triangle
>brown
Not bad. Do feel free to probe for a variety of sensory data. Shapes and colors are the most important, but there's also texture, smell, taste, sound and brightness/luminescence.
Is it hard? Soft? Natural? Artificial? Are there life-forms present? Is the target in motion or not?
How would you feel if you were presenr at the target site?
I have a question. When you guys finally look at the target picture, does it feel really right to you? Like, "Yes! THAT'S what I was trying to remote view!"?
Because last time I tried this, I said "stripes" and "a person's possession," and the target was a fence with vertical bars, which seems to match. But the mental image I got was actually a striped nail clipper. Seeing the target didn't feel familiar to me at all; it was just a few phrases that happened to match, which makes me skeptical.
This is normal. There's some advanced techniques to get more high-level visuals, but all of that takes practice.
This is why you are urged to use descriptive language rather than trying to name the target. What often happens is that the viewer receives an intuitive impulse, but then the mind immediately associates it with something from your memory bank or comes up with something that the impulsive reminds it of. Make no mistake, you can turn this into a sophisticated and precise skill, but you need to practise. There's no way around that.
my descriptions
gray to white perhaps black,
Fear and anger, perhaps anxiety
Plain texture like paper
Doesn't really taste like anything only paper
three to four collumns of gray, white and black
doesn't smell like anything but reminds me of paperburn
Kind of loud but wants my attention, wants me to listen
Nice one!
What does it mean tho? What do I do?
This was just your first attempt (and success!) at a very simplified version of skill called remote viewing. What this means for you is that you are potentially capable of perceiving and knowing anything in space and time. This is a skill you can develop and refine into something unbelievably powerful and profound, but it requires consistent practice. What I suggest is that you pick any RV method (CRV aka controlled remote viewing is a good place to start) and read/watch a manual or tutorial on it. Practise it at least once a day and you will become better and better at distinguishing intuition from menta noise. That is an amazing ability to have.
This was probably all a bit overwhelming. I am in the discord to answer any questions, but you can also check the pastebin and read through the resources.
What can I do with this skill? I want to understand my understanding of nuance and my awareness of the world around me.
A better question would be what you can't do with it. You can know anything. Past, present, future, anywhere in the universe. Earth? Mars? Alpha Centauri? You want to remote view the Big Bang? The end of the universe? Area 51? Your past self? Your future self? Your higher self? You want to read minds?
There are no limits. You can even combine it with techniques for remote healing and remote influencing.
But it also teaches you about your own consciousness. You become more aware of what is intuition and what is imagination. You become more in tune with your "super-self".
I thought that reading literature might help me with intuition and awareness.
Try a book on remote viewing then.
I will try bro tnx
I got the word "dam". Close enough.
Not bad
Got this with just the two words
>Vista
>Water
Did pretty good methinks
Oops forgot image
I'm mildly excited. The five words I wrote down were "cold," "moving," "dark," "wooden," and "trite," and the last two (which don't relate to the image) felt forced at the time. My sketch was also similar to the photo in several ways. But I wonder if it's just that the photo was very complex so that there were a lot of adjectives and shapes that could have related to it.
You could try it a few more times if you still have doubts.
>slick
>young
>wet
>free
>close
>lonely
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what the fuck
am I a wizard

He is ready. Load the program trinity. He's going to jump.
Attempt 2:
>Open
>Brisk
>Clear
>Textured
>Peace
>Strength
>Forward
>Pattern
Not as good as the first but not too shabby
what is this anyway, a mausoleum of some kind?
>wet
>slippery
>hard
>brown
>grey
>humid
>wood
>creaking
meh
Alright I just tried this
for the first I wrote
bark, silver, pink and scratch,
the image turned out to have pink and silvery parts but the other tweo were a wash and the squiggle was way off
for the ssecond I wrote: chocolate, a line, blue, marshmallow
This one I actually found very surprising. it was lightning accross a dark blue sky and the image I drew looks a little like the lightning bolt and scenary below it.
I'm on the fence about this but the second image was literally a line across blue so I'm a little more open to it than I was before.
When I'm drawing am I supposed to look away from the paper and focus on the code or look at the paper?
>When I'm drawing am I supposed to look away from the paper and focus on the code or look at the paper?
Look at the paper.
Ah I see, I just kept my eyes shut and focussed on the numbers trying to let my hand wander since I kept the pen on the page the whole time.
Honestly after maybe 2 hours of practicing for couple last days i'm pretty sure it's BS. Most of those pictures are landscapes cities and other industrial or open space related things. This goes for colors too it mostly red black blue. The randomness of pics are also quite odd cuz i got same pictures like 2 or 3 times. And that thing about "let your hand move by itself" or something yeah i dont think even a single time my hand actually did some drawings by itself. Your hands dont have their own will really unless you have some brain damage. Some results were pretty accurate for me but most of them were quite off so for now i think all those that i got accuratly are more of a coincidence.
Try another target pool. There's a few in the pastebin.
> circle
> black
I though it was a failure, then I looked at the top part of the image.
Impressive. Tried 3 times and got surprised.
Tell us
.
Did 4.
1 and 3 were completely off
2 I- wrote down field, car, road and drew / saw a car driving past a field (on its left) and a row of threes. Picture was exactly that, but the car was burning.
4 - metal, concrete, heat. Drew 2 square buildings and a large parking lot. Looks like bottom-right of this. Picrel. It's Kuala Lumpur, must be hot.
Screw this. Not my first time remote viewing but computers being involved makes me uneasy.
Sorry, picrel for 4.
Very nice
Thanks.
What’s the theory behind though? I can understand “going places”, but how is it possible to guess which dataset a machine will pick? Something on a quantum level?
Not op, but you are projecting your consciousness to the target using intention and focus. Your job is to quiet your analytical thinking mind and just observe. The data is processed through your sensory homunculus in your right brain hemisphere. The more you quiet your mind and empty your head of all thoughts, the more information you will be able to obtain.
Our consciousness exists outside of the material and is able to move trivially independent of both space and time as a result. It's very similar to astral projection, but significantly easier. Astral projection takes your astral body to the target site whereas with remote viewing you are tasting or previewing it.
Thanks for the answers.
It’s just kind of bizarre for me that the same thing works for information that is stored on a hard drive and the image that is probably not even displayed anywhere until I click the button.
OOBE and astral projection just feel more “natural”, I had them a few times before and I still perceived myself as a whole entity and the objects around me were more or less “real”.
But maybe that’s just my human mind trying to figure out how and whenthe image was processed, probably doesn’t really matter.
Think of reality as a mental construct (think idealism) consisting of information patterns. You, as a conscious aspect of this total consciousness, are capable of tuning into these underlying information patterns that make up a particular aspect of reality (like these targets).
What the hell is remote viewing and what the hell is PSI
Remote viewing is a process that allows you to perceive anything in space and time, possibly even beyond that.
Psi is just the mysterious factor that allows psychic abilities to work.
Okay, so I tried it 3 different times.
>First time I had : Sauvage, bristling, spiky, brown, hedgehog with spiky hair, horse (etc..)
And the picture was a fire from a hot air balloon.
>Second time I had : Hat, round, bathtub, fountain, water, something flat wide, big, wet.
And the picture was a large football stadium, it reminded of a large flat hat somehow, we are getting closer.
>Third time I had : weapon, sharp, threatening, oval, Red, blood, Danger, little, spider, venimous.
And the picture was 3 bloody red sharp mountains.
I have to say that I'm looking at that post after a weird synchronicity today were I read a client's mind today. I work in a physical shop and this is the second time of my life this shit happens to me, I felt embarrassed.
I guess I'm going to take a closer look at that remote viewing thing now, might be helpfull in my shamanic practice.
>drew a zebra
>picture was of a laundromat
Yeah fuck you larper
Did you skip the entire first part?
Open your mind just a lil more, you are giving up too quickly

Outside, Built, Tall, Round, Red, Yellow, Light, Populated
the first things I got where gray, tall, and black, and my first scribbles looked like the outline. But my final though was gun.
