      This is very true if:
      >You use the adobe suite, ms office 365, autocad or any kind of software that you can't run well on wine.
      >You like windows.
      >You decide to use a distro like gentoo, LFS, slackware, etc.
      >You are too old or too dumb* and therefore adapting to a new OS results very challenging.
      >You play games that don't have native versions or don't perform well or even run on wine for some reason.

Otherwise, you really don't give a fuck about what operating system are you using. The time you waste will determined by the kind of activities you do and not the OS.

*Just to clarify, by dumb I mean computer illiterate. You can expect someone who already performs poorly on windows to change OS

          >you should adapt to a new OS
I never said that. I did wrote 'You like windows' as reason to not use linux, you should use whatever the fuck you want why would I care
          just works
Indeed, I'll make it work. Using windows, linux, macos, android, ios or pen and piece of paper. It's just a tool dude

    Some tools maybe
I went back to Windows after using Linux for a long time and there's a few things that are already pissing me the fuck off with window tiling and animations just being sluggish somehow on a fucking 6600xt
Plasma had this nice thing where I could copy and paste shit directly to the file manager from a specific program, and I cannot do that on Windows so it's a bigger waste of time
It just depends on what you use really

Dual boot seriously best thing you can do. Linux for work and protecting your stuff. Window for gaming and adobe shit.

Linux is not that hard to learn and once you get to used to it it's fine unless you want to rework everything and tinker with stuff.

I have an old computer and it works better there. For example Firefox and Chromium lag a lot in Windows, whereas in Linux they do fine.

Doesn't matter really, at this point everything is based on the browser or an electron app (which is somewhat the same).

Also, windows is very sneaky with their settings, has a lot of settings that turn on on their own or you have to really dig through to disable. I don't like that sneaky shit so that's why I switched.

Only people who stick to windows are gamers because they have to and normal people who don't know better and can't afford a mac.
