I know English might not be your first language but we have a WAYWT thread which stands for “what are you wearing today” and that’s where a post like this would go 🙂

try hard. No fashion knowledge. Let’s be real. You have to learn the difference between casual wear and semi-formal wear. Meaning, something you wear when you are going out relaxed and something you wear when you want to look presentable and be taken seriously. You can’t do this half-half, half-ass look. Either you are formal, or you aren’t. Right now, you are doing street fashion style.
    >black dress shirt with pajama bottoms
you are trying to match a fitted shirt top with loose bottoms. Don’t mix and match this. Either all loose or all fitted. The colors are modern and alright. With this fit, try a super-baggy hoodie or sweater-shirt instead.
    >pajama bottoms with all-white shoes
very 2016-2017 era. This is still acceptable in 2023 going into 2024 as it is an international style, but it is showing it’s age. If you are going for the relaxed look, try more varied sneakers like some colorful Adidas Samba. Some eye-catching Nike would work too if you are into that. If you want a more serious look, do the same colors, but with a grey fitted chino pants and brown leather Oxford shoes. Maybe some moccasins or leather loafers would also work.

Is there anything you’d recommend to pair with grey glen plaid pants for a more relaxed look? I have a normal, non-drawstring pair but everything I’ve tried either feels too formal for work or just off

just copy fashionable celebrity fit for inspiration. That or the latest seasonal releases- just adjust it down to your own style and budget (buy similar-looking but cheaper clothing).
        >I’ve tried either feels too formal for work or just off
plaid sweatpants are just a bad choice in general. It looks far too relaxed for fashion out in public, (it looks like sleepwear or homewear). But if you must, try it like Kanye picrelated. A baggy vintage shirt or a vintage shirt layered under a puffy/oversized hoodie or sweatshirt. Shoes need to be casual. Your fit OP is an Eastern-Europe or Europe in general style, "Sex Spec". Like I said, it’s very 2016. Try more casual if that’s what you already have. Pair with baggy tops and more casual shoes. Like I said, colorful sneakers. Similar color scheme top but more baggy, not fitted. Don’t be afraid to wear XL or XXL (US) sizing. Downgrade the hebrewelry for casual fit, save it for the formal office wear. Headwear like a beanie or a scarf/headcover is also nice.

Those pants are a weird in-between. Pairing them with that shirt makes it look like you’re trying to wear them as dress pants. So if that’s the case, you gotta hide the drawstring, and you need to swap the sneakers for some boots or dress shoes.
You could wear the pants with those sneakers, but you’d need to go fully casual and swap the shirt for a tshirt, sweater, sweatshirt, or hoodie.
Also, anytime you wear a dress shirt without a tie, you need at least 2 buttons undone.

You look like your parents left their home country for getting free money from welfare but then you spout stuff like "people in this country have no honour".
