I just ran "update-help" in powershell 5 and it won't even pull down help for other microsoft-written modules
>update-help : Failed to update Help for the module(s) 'AzureStackHCI, ConfigDefender, ConfigDefenderPerformance,
DefenderPerformance, Dism, Get-NetView, Kds, NetQos, PcsvDevice, Pester, PKI, RemoteDesktop, StorageBusCache,
StorageMigrationService, VMDirectStorage, Whea, WindowsUpdate' with UI culture(s) {en-US} : Unable to retrieve the
HelpInfo XML file for UI culture en-US. Make sure the HelpInfoUri property in the module manifest is valid or check
your network connection and then try the command again.

The docs were pretty good years ago, but right now they are quite broken. Several rounds of website "upgrades" have resulted in significant corruption.

The docs are still perfectly fine. You guys just have shit browsers.
Win32 api docs is great. But if you look at any new it's pretty shit, for example anything added to c# in last couple of years is just generated from doc-comments with a single sentence description.
While PowerShell is sometimes annoying their documentation is overall great. A lot of examples, up to date. Never had a problem with it. And I'm speaking about .Net and Azure docs.
also they recently "modernized" all the documentation and made it shit
5 copies of the same worthless beginner tutorials
and no information on the specific issues you're actually having
I don't like MS in general but some of their documentation is pretty good.
For example their C# and Typescript documentation is a trillion times better than any Python documentation.

the amount of times i tried to run powershell modules, only to find out that my powershell prompt doesn't even recognize them...
it's a clusterfuck of pajeetware
not even memeing
What documentation?
wtf are you talking about? Win32 API docs on MSDN are god-tier.
The docs were pretty good years ago, but right now they are quite broken. Several rounds of website "upgrades" have resulted in significant corruption.
this is why you keep old windows sdk's around. i just use the windows vista documentation
The docs are still perfectly fine. You guys just have shit browsers.

Also the courses they provide are quite good.
I had to use ChatGPT to figure out how to do a voice to text api call.
That's fucking insane.
Yea, it's fucking insane how dumb you are. I found it in less than two minutes.
you are unironically stupid
they release python clients and such for all their azure APIs.
just read code, are you dumb?
Works on my machine. Have you tried turning it off and on again?
I really dislike C# docs, lots of useless info and verbose garbage
compared to something like qt it's total dogshit
Qt has amazing documentation. It’s a shame what they’ve done with qt 6
also they recently "modernized" all the documentation and made it shit

It would help with the Win32 API wasn't full of functions that took 30+ arguments where more than half are unused outside of niche shit
