Anglos love their Celtic heritage. Anglican theologians consider themselves orthodox via Celtic Christianity. Plus you can cling to a powerful literary tradition or go into various mythologies of the isles. There were Irish knights and kings in the Arthurian Romances for instance, it's all a big tent.
If you're larping irl, I would go with Slav because their equivalent to HEMA is far more based and interesting than what you'll find among w*stoids. I've really wanted to larp as a cossack in the past so perhaps this is impartial. Plus I've boyed Usyk.
