the sportscoat's sleeves are a bit too long, so I'll have to get it tailored, but otherwise, I love it a lot

I lost my job in the first wave of tech layoffs and burnt through all of my savings looking for another one. I got a new job a few months ago, but now they're telling us that they're going to lay us off now too. I don't really have much money left... and I have nobody to help me. The high cost of living (mostly rent) is going to bankrupt me before I can find a new job (at least a high paying one).
So, to maintain my dignity I'm forced to flee the country to somewhere cheaper while I look around. One area in consideration is the Balkans. Albania in particular has very cheap apartments in Sarande and some other places I forget. I can live there while I look for something. What do you say to an American in my situation? Am I welcome? I can only speak English.

Because I will soon have no income, but still have to pay rent. Median rent price in the US is 2,000 a month, and that includes the ghetto. I can pay 800 a month in the Balkans and save 1.2k a month, thus, last longer with no income. Pretty simple, right?

The fun is in wording it like that. If I just straightforwardly told you, "You're okay after all Vamp, you're not so bad!" it wouldn't really mean much, you would forget it the next day. But this way it is infused with meaning. There is a poetic and artful aspect to it. Consider it the same sort of thing as drawing someone a picture, or giving them a handmade gift. It's just a bit hard to navigate, there's a lot of irony mixed with sincerity and metaphor.
It's my art--one of them at least. It goes unappreciated on /LULZ/ because people here have low IQs and don't even understand what they're looking at. I do have my admirers elsewhere though, and it is all I need.
