Her original producer (who wrote Bulletproof) left after her first album. her career died after that

Unironically the studio version of that song is better. The entire album is actually great.

I love this whole album. The singer's voice is so shrill but so cool. It's the sort of thing that's good even though it's annoying

dark horse, but only because of the rap verse, so incongruous to me. Katy's got a powerhouse voice and I've heard anecdotes from two people who have personally worked with her that she stays on her A game and remembers assistants' names well, as in up to like 50+ people in a day and remembers the next day which I find wholesome, but most of her talent has gone towards a special brand of low hanging fruit. I can get down with firework, roar, but dark horse has some some interesting minor scale moments that don't show up on the radio that often

I unironically think the mixing, unorthodox time signature, and glitched out vocals make this song cool

The song is good. But the singer and production seem really off to me. It sounds like it should be a rock song sung by a soulful dude

My brother says this is his guilty pleasure song too.

I actually like that song and find the music video cute. I also find myself singing Friday by Rebecca Black in the shower now and then.

I guess the least cool stuff I like is The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, but I am not embarrassed about that in the slightest.

Bulletproof is great and all, but the Skrillex remix of In for the Kill is both evergreen and a perfect snapshot of its era.

But then the Tyler, The Creator remix of Automatic Drive takes it to an entirely new dimension.
