    >reading something on my phone
    >an acquaintance comes up to me
    >"you're reading on your phone? I could never do that. I like physical books, hardcover ones in particular. All my books are hardcover".
    >he mentions this a second time some weeks later
    >go over to his house
    >there's two hardcover books on the coffee table
    >"yeah those are the ones I was telling you about"
    >he tells me that he read them in 2012
    >what's more, those two were the only books he ever read

how can the fact checkers correct the record of problematic books if they are in an alt right colonilizing white pride physical form. books are made out of dead trees and climate change. please subscribe to amazongus and only read things in your kindle, with the camera uncovered and facing you.

      >The real reason why a lot of people are pushing for digital copies only is so it's easy for them to change historic text and there's no proof otherwise.

Has it gotten that bad where the conspiracy theorist in me believes this now?

shit dude, its not even a conspiracy theory. the 'you will own nothing and be happy' meme is a direct refence to the eternal subscription model that the neo-aristocrats want to make standard for every faccet of your life. If you own a physical book, then that means you arent paying for a service to rent access to that book and this is dangerous to our democracy. The ability to clandestingly rewrite history is just a side benefit. Remember goyim, even though you can easily find 3 days worth of 'januaray 6th insurektion', where boomers relived their vietnam protest days in a giant impotent larp, your child's school book will call it a failed alt-right coup, and all the digital books they look up to confirm this claim will agree.

They want the hearts and minds of children. Babies who read this shit won't know its been cucked. They won't know they've been lied too, just as they will never know their information lies to them

QRD on Lafferty? Isn't Past Master his best?

His short stories are best but yes past master, fourth mansion, and okla hannali are his most famous, but all of it is fantastic and unique.
Kneel Gayman bought Lafferty's estate in 2011. He says he is a big fan yet he chooses to hold onto Lafferty's books, some of which have never been in print. This is why it is so difficult to get ahold of a lot of his work. Why does he do it? Your guess is as good as mine.
