    >Be me
    >From the ages of 4 to 15 live in an old ass house in MA. Like, at least 100 years old
    >As far back as I can remember, almost every night I would hear faint voices in my room
    >Often a calm woman's voice and singing
    >Also about as far back as I can remember, I would randomly orgasm laying in bed at night, always when the female voice/singing was present
    >Didn't actually realize what it was until around 12, but I would just get spontaneous waves of pleasure like being jerked off and would then jizz myself
    >Always associated it with what people talk about as "wet dreams" despite being awake, thought the phenomenon was somehow related
    >Hear recently about how Nannies in the old days apparently used to jerk off boys before sleep
    >Mfw it stopped as soon as I left that house
    >Mfw my virginity was taken by a Victorian ghost

A story about a white family who moved to a rural place where 9ft shadow figures were looking through windows of their house at night for months.

Fast forward and the neighborhood tells the white family that the shadows are controlled remotely by these creatures (look up those evil things from kingdom hearts) who live in caves and they would steal children to eat them through a small slit on their face, akin to a paper shredder as a mouth. They also rape women, and give them back causing them to have miscarriages and other health issues. They also noted how they targeted white european kids, and that all white families move out because of the phenomenon. It’s one of the few stories that made me realize this world is absolutely not what we think it is

just hunted down the town depicted in the original story. 20 mins on google maps. And yes it is Woomera. Australia is vast but sparsely populated. Despite the Original dude taking efforts to black out street names and such the best method was to check the angle that the main highway depicted in yellow curved to the west of the town, the distinctive rounded road on its eastern boundary and the colouration of the soil. 100% it's Woomerra

And he lived on Boorri street. Usually means fire. Indigenous refer to cigarette lighters as boorri

I'm in Brisbane and would consider bussing it there and camping a night or two to see if I experience anything.

Another interesting side note - Woomera was the site of a missile testing ground. A joint operation between the British and us Aussies I believe. I'm also pretty sure we've allocated land, perhaps at Woomera but also possibly elsewhere for nuclear testing for the French and Americans also. Woomera is a suitable name because it is the indigenous name for a a device that enchanced the range and damage of a thrown spear. Woomera - spear - missile - get it? I wonder if the alien/ghost/haunter things were perhaps drawn to the area because of that. The Tharawal people are based south of Sydney. If the aunt's history spoken about in the original story is true this offshoot of the tribe travelled a long way through some harsh country to try and escape them. That also means there may be mob and elder from around St. George who could also be asked for information on the child eating Strangers.

Woomera is also a hub of space based research and activity. Was used a launch point for the European Launcher Development Organisation.

Kinda weird how someone in the original story concluded that the Strangers weren't a native disturbed spirit or even a cryptid native to the area. The theory that the ghosts were possibly malevolent aliens just got spicier I guess.

Those tree stumps are still there. I always thought reading the story that the encounter took place across the road from his house but its actually a further ways down Boorri street. The poor guy and his friends must have been so frightened they ran all the way down the street.

Why do Greentext threads never take off anymore? You used to get threads that went into the hundreds of replies, lots of interaction and stories. Now they only get a few people posting in them and often get ignored before being archived. Do zoomers just like scary stories or is this board just dead now? How does shit like summoning succubus or nobody general get so much attention but not classic greentext story threads? It doesn’t make sense.

We humans ask the same questions since years. The board is dead, this whole website is a fed honeypot.

      >Do zoomers just like scary stories
Mistyped that one I meant to say “Do zoomers just NOT like scary stories” I can’t believe I missed out a keyword that changes the entire meaning of what I meant.

the succ thread works because they have some knowledge that works there
and the nobody thread works because its an autism depression magnet

the succ thread also doubles as an autism depression magnet just slightly less so

when you filter out /ng/ /cdf/ /succ/ and muh jeebus threads, you'll realize just how dead /x/ actually is nowadays
as for the actual stories: I assume people can only read the same stories so many times before getting bored or something
anyways, bumping with one of my favorites

The carvings on the rock are not indigenous style at all. The written script differs between regions and is pictographic in nature, rarely if ever composed of straight carved lines as these are difficult to accomplish. Message sticks are an exception but were only used during important times of discussion between tribes for matters of commerce, war, and the agreement of borders.

Those markings, to me anyway, I think they kinda resemble constellations. I am only really familiar with them on a zodiac and pop culture basis. Does any one else know the stars any better? A star map? An attempt to communicate a place of origin perhaps.
