Panel Van Woes

My rent is about to go up soon and at this point it'll become a death sentence for a wagey like myself, so I am gonna use my remaining money to get out of my apartment and set up shop in a panel van like pic related. Problem is I don't know which model or year to go for.
>Only things I consider mandatory are reliability and windows like pic related
Thank you kindly for your service, DA, and godspeed.

If you can’t afford rent how can you afford a panel van

I've been putting down money here and there from a few side jobs that I wasn't gonna tap into unless it's an emergency. Since a panel van will be around $600-$700 a month, it'll be alot cheaper than my apartment which is about to go $1200 soon.

damn how little do you make? I work in a grocery store and could afford that rent, no problem.

Op here, sorry about the wait.

I'm a wagey at a retail store making just above minimum wage. My money mainly goes towards my money sink of a trunk. Got new parts for it because it kept overheating, and as soon as that was done some skuttlefrick ran through my wires and the thing went kerput. Mechanic has no idea what's what and taking it anywhere else feels like a risk. Puppy's got paint flaking off and it has such bad gas mileage that a van would actually be an improvement.

Would you say that you're a millennial who has been priced out of home ownership, and you think that van life might be the next big thing?

Zoomed borderline millennial. Parents kicked me out soon after I turned 20 since they decided to move up North. I live in in the boondocks of mid Florida, right in gang territory because this is the cheapest rent around. Cities outwards have got it much more expensive, but people gotta pay for them otherwise they risk living in a place where you hear shootings from a few streets away regularly.

Payments on a van are literally cheaper than rent in most places now.

Living in a van sucks, why on earth would you rather live in a van than get a roommate?

Not OP but I live in a car. It's better than paying rent if you're just a normal person, not some drug addict sleeping in his shitbox. If I had a van I'd feel like a king.

If you're working a wage cuck job, those exist everywhere. Go somewhere with cheaper COL and get a reasonable apartment. If you go "but muh city" you're beyond saving, enjoy being homeless in hell.

I live in a Ford transit connect 2010 if u have any questions. I chose that bc it was cheap and has really great gas mileage the 2010body style has more head room than the new body style

Where do you park at night?

Inner cv joint or transmission issue

Mostly planet fitness and grocery stores.it helps if it's open 24/7 so there are some other cars in the parking lot but then just street parking often as well
