Outfit Suggestions

I want to redo my whole wardrobe because most of my clothes look like shit and don’t fit me. Problem is, I don’t know the first thing about fashion.
People have told me to go on J.Crew and get button downs and things, but I don’t know what colors, patterns, etc. I should go for.
Can y’all suggest casual, business casual, and or formal outfits to me? Preferably with pictures if you can.

the silhouette here sucks ass and it’s mostly due to the trousers, the taper makes him look like an egg in clown shoes. a fuller cut with a higher rise and it might at least look decent. the jacket isn’t great either, again it’s too slim and the lapels are too thin, though that’s only one man’s opinion

it’s now 2 men’s opinion, good critique. jacket is not just too slim, but 2 inches too short, assuming the pants are pulled up properly

You have to know at least something about fashion if you feel all your clothes suck. The people who know nothing think everything looks the same.

Lurk more and pick up an idea of what you like seeing on others. Then think about the particular things YOU like, and find a way to combine the two.

Dude, I hate how every pair of pants sold in stores now is either slim fit, tapered, or zoomer oversized clown core. Most guys don’t even know what they’re buying.

That’s the curse of fashion fads, that’s why you need to able to go beyond that, either with money, or with knowledge and experience.

Get Wider pants, switch to white undershirt or wifebeater, your shirt poles out too far on your wrist.

Have fun at the Ben Sharpio lecture!

You don’t look too happy with your outfit, and I don’t blame you. I wouldn’t be happy either if my jacket’s silhouette hecked me like that, and I was wearing mega slim super-tapered skintight skinny chinos like that.
The problem isn’t the clothes themselves, but rather how they fit on you. The skintight pants look ridiculous, and accentuate your hips so you should go for a looser cut. Get a boxier jacket, something that doesn’t give you this god-awful silhouette. It doesn’t flatter you at all, just makes you look worse. Ditch the undershirt.
