decent, some good tracks for sure, but i liked phm more
it did help make nothing more of an actual label, which brought us some good pop will eat itself and meat beat manifesto stuff, which is nice
really good album, i think its earned its very positive reputation
i really like how there are such different sounding songs on it and although the music is abrasive its pretty clear that trent has good pop instincts which helps the music. i like hooks and choruses lol
if there is one criticism i have its that the second half of the album does take a noticeable quality drop and gets pretty inconsistent. i really like the instrumental 'a warm place' though, its a nice break from the bleakness of the album.
whiny fagass ''oh noo someone broke my heart'' just stfu trent u fag
actually i totally agree - two criticisms - early nine inch nails work is so fuckin whiny, its the biggest drawback of the music. i can totally understand why someone would be turned off by it hard lol.
im older now and i cannot relate to any of it anymore, but i remember when i was around 16-18 years old and really pissed off, this album and trent's general narcissistic whine and anger spoke to me a lot lmao
its kind of embarassing that trent was closer to 30 than he was 18 when he wrote some of this shit, but hey hey won oscars and i didnt so
The Fragile>Ghosts albums>Add Violence/Not the Actual Events/Bad Witch>Still>The Downward Spiral>With Teeth>Pretty Hate Machine>Hesitation Marks>Broken EP>The Slip
One of the best examples of Audio that drug use will eventually destroy but that you can step back, or at least accept that you will only face your greatest peril later but even more severely, even finally.
Good but Fragile aged better
YOU GET ME CLOSER TO GOD
DUUD DUDUUD DDUUD DDUDU DUDUD DUDDUD DUDUD DUDUD UDUDUD UDDUD UDUDUD UDDUDUU DUDU
ME AND MY FUCKING GUN
OH MY BEAUTIFUL LAIR, OH MY PRECIOUS WHORE
To me, Closer was the only worthwhile song.

Mogged by PHM, Broken and Fragile

im not even joking what the fuck r u trying to say here
Im surprised a warm place and at the heart of it all (forgot what album thats on) haven't been used in a any movies yet.
because it's probably easier to hire someone to make gay boring ambient shit that sounds exactly the same than to license shit from a major label
A Warm Place is rip-off of David Bowie's "Crystal Japan" and At The Heart of It All is an Aphex Twin song (also the title is a Coil song)
Album released in 1994.
