              I started with ubuntu myself, it really doesn't matter which you start with, unless it's broken of course. I guess the differences at first glance are the Desktop Environments they come pre-installed with, so if you don't want to do any fiddling then that's also a factor.

    Pop!_OS is alright, I just don't know how I feel about them deciding not to have any new releases past 22.04 LTS (stuck at GNOME 42 with no thumbnails in the file picker like in GNOME 44) and instead having people wait until COSMIC releases for any big changes, and there's no clear indication when COSMIC will be finished.
