Ok, I switched to Firefox. Now what? Posted on May 24, 2023 by Anonymous Ok, I switched to Firefox. Now what?
use it to download ungoogled chromium then uninstall it
Why would I download chromium just to uninstall chromium. That makes no sense anon.
even a fucking LLM knows what this means
too much autism
ESL bros, it's over...
>Why would I download chromium just to uninstall chromium
Firefox doesn't use Chromium, retard
Why install Chromium and then uninstall it?
Enjoy the abysmal performance and missing/broken features on any webpage optimized for Chromium (and only Chromium)
Use it to download brave
Only right answer
>le so brave men

it's a browser you stupid fuck. what the fuck bag are you talking about?
go to e6 and download the script that shows the blacklisted content without an account
Make a userChrome.css, userContent.css, and user.js file.
Fill them with hundreds of lines of code to make Firefox usable.
Do some basic setup in Settings - e.g. disable telemetry.
Install uBlock Origin.
There are at least two important options in about:config I recommend to enable:
Set to true in order to disable accidental browser exit by pressing Ctrl+Q (it's too near Ctrl+W).
Set to true in order to enable switching tabs using mousewheel (emulates Chrome behavior).
You can further customize the browser using advanced settings but that's for experienced users
You can e.g. make tabs narrower in order to squeeze them more into screen - again, in order to resemble Chrome more.
At least you CAN make it usable. With israelitegle Chrome you're fucked.
Firefox is still highly customizable, even though the customization options are hidden at first sight.
>Install uBlock Origin
very much this
i also go into about:config and disable everything pocket
Now just use it. Simple!
Complain about it and threaten to switch back to chrome unless your demands are met
web is bloat
Web was never meant for what it is today.
Web was originally meant to look like pic related - just a formatted text interconnected by hyperlinks, with an occasional image or table.
I remember that web.
drudgereport.com still has that same style
now switch genders
now switch to Librewolf
This, it's had working windows versions for months now

kek. why's everyone hating on firefox. i don't get it. i've been using it for 10 years at least. it's fast, it doesn't look like chrome. earlier builds looked prettier imo. but overall. it's a good browser. don't let google ram things down your throat like a literal npc.
Most importantly, it's the only browser opposing Google's hegemony.
Everything else is just a Chrome clone.
because people are paid to shill the "new" chromium alternatives
Browse the World Wide Web
Now install Nightly.
>Updates every day
What's the point?
Latest bug fixes and bugs.
Also, historically Firefox on Linux has only really worked if you used Nightly because there's so many bugs.
It's better nowadays though. The Wayland support is mature, there's hardware video decoding acceleration, screen capture works, smooth scrolling works, etc.
Chop off your dick and change your name to Sally and wear ruby red lipstick
welcome, enjoy the superior engine
