It's tool used to excuse poorly optimized games run better by lowering graphics, then upscaling it through DLSS and it makes it look worse 90% of the time.
Other types of AA are mathematically sound, at the cost of high computation. DLAA is faster at the cost of being a guess, which is sometimes wrong. DLSS does it over the full screen instead of just the edges of things.
So no, if you've got performance to spare, which you should with an RTX card, DLSS is probably objectively worse than any form of AA.
I just got Lies of P. I tested it at native, get 70-90 fps. Put on DLSS on quality, no noticeable difference, and it runs at a perfect 120 so I left it on. To me, higher fps is more noticeable than the difference between native/DLSS
>no option for native
its the first entry you moron
what even is DLSS and why should I care?

>all those different combinations of wut
thats as clear as mud, the nvidia designers are autistic.
DLAA > Native > Upscaling.
Everything else is not even a consideration.
>doesnt add up to 100%
Nice statistics retard
It does
That's a lot of ayymd users
I don't want to see artifacts if I'm spending $2000 on a card, Jensen
People are retarded. DLSS looks better than native unless you're a fan of jaggies
Better image stability sure, but DLSS still has a softness and detail issue for resolutions under 4k (and even then it's still somewhat soft).
It looks like fucking ass in motion.
yeah 5 years ago maybe, not now
There's other kinds of AA, and even no AA has artifacts only at the edges of objects. DLSS has full-screen artifacts.
Every other AA is worse

DLAA is just DLSS minus most of the blur and asset weirdness.

Nvidia is a trillion dollar company, they have the capability to do DLSS disabled 16K graphics, they just want to drip feed you for the next decade.
lol the people picking any upscaling over dlaa are just corporate simps. why would you prefer worse
