Now that crypto is 100%, utterly and unironically dead

What's the 'next big thing' that'll bubble up and go parabolic in 5-10 years from now? There's always another bubble eventually. Want to know what I should be quietly DCAing into during this oncoming recession.

These are already expensive though. I want to buy the totally new, overlooked thing 3 months before everyone realizes it has immense value and is underpriced by 10000x. Whatever that thing happens be. And it if doesn't exist yet / can't be invested in yet, I'm happy to wait. I just want to figure out what form it'll likely take when it does show up.

Chromatin Interaction Analysis by Paired-End Tag Sequencing (ChIA-PET or ChIA-PETS) is a technique that incorporates chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP)-based enrichment, chromatin proximity ligation, Paired-End Tags, and High-throughput sequencing to determine de novo long-range chromatin interactions genome-wide.

I really don't know why they aren't shorting if they believe is dead , they are just posting stupidity all over LULZ about how is dead

Is that or they are truly retarded

Only reason to short now is to try to maximize your money when things actually do reach the bottom. Whenever the hell that is, I'm not putting a price to it I'm just going to wait and watch charts. It's what I did. I'm not out of the game entirely, but I'm done riding the crash. Did it too long.

tokens / selling stock in yourself

Kek. this is how I explain how retarded the stock market is. I say "imagine you sold stock in yourself and other people could buy and sell that stock and how much you earn as income doesn't matter because you don't pay out dividends. Thats basically how the stock market works".

So, if people fall for stocks and crypto -- I say start selling shares based on your own personal earning power. People could have celebrity YouTube channels where they talk about their lives and their "stock" would be really expensive. Losers and ugly people would have worthless penny stocks and people would say "maybe Jeff's stock will moon when he finishes drama school and gets off drugs... maybe Hollywood will hire him".

This is basically just repackaged celebrity culture, so it's a worthy successor to crypto.

This is basically just repackaged celebrity culture, so it's a worthy successor to crypto.

I mentioned social tokens because most bubbles and fads typically exist in prior bubbles in some nascent sort of form that most people overlook, so I think sometimes you can dig through the detritus of late-cycle bullshit that never caught on to figure out what will catch on the next time around. Like NFTs were around in 2017/18 and nobody really knew what to do with them, then they came ripping back with a vengeance this time around. With social tokens there were a few experiments this cycle with shit like Bitclout but they never caught on hugely.

But then again the next big thing is probably not going to be crypto at all because that stone's been squeezed as hard as it can, I think. So there might not be any applicable lessons to learn from looking at failed 2021 crypto experiments if the next bubble is going to be crispr tech, or etc.

I'm talking about buying and selling social "stock" on stock style exchanges. The pundits then just talk about the celebrities and their celebrity status and earning power and stuff like that -- who is going up and who is declining in their career. It's bullshit but people buy non-dividend stocks and cryptos -- both of which are scams -- so I think it would work.

Advanced longevity treatments and medications, but only available to the elite to price out anyone on below 10M net worth, so idk if it will ever earn that much for investors. But boomers may be desperate and sell their properties for it, so they can outlive their kids, who knows. Aged care in the same fashion.
Probably beans, bugs, pods, cheap 3D printed organs, anti-depressants (maybe including psylocibin if any company can somehow buy the patent to the legalised version)

There was a thread a few weeks ago about profitability of biotech and the general consensus was that it's unlikely that any sort of biotech with real moonshot potential would ever actually be able to be invested in, since being publically traded would mean they'd have to adhere to insane FDA regulations that strangle the ability to actual do anything bold, new, and interesting.

Maybe biotech and crypto will combine in the next bubble and you can use permissionless dexes to invest in illegal chop shop garage startups working to cure baldness or make penises grow.

That’s a good point too. Though I think there will be enough safe compounds in the next decade or two that could be marketed. Some are already getting tested but regulation always takes a while and the supplement area is growing though that relies on spare cash from consumers. Currently PRP and SC therapies are somewhat widely used and endorsed for joint rehabilitation, I think that’s close enough to starting anti-ageing application soon. The more meaningful treatments will always be more expensive and elite-only so it would only pay to actually develop and administer them yourself.
        >use permissionless dexes to invest in illegal chop shop garage startups working to cure baldness or make penises grow
Kek sounds ideal, but I think regulations will get tighter if anything.
Especially around anti-ageing there is already a rhetoric amongst doctors realising correctly that they are prolonging life in the elderly just to cause more pain so they should stop extending life in general. Not realising anti-ageing and life extension are different, but already setting up the idea that it’s unethical so that doctors won’t prescribe it to the peasants in the future. So there may be wider policies about capping the use anti-ageing therapies (for most people).

It will be an intern area regardless with these technologies getting better and the wealth disparity here. I liked the show altered carbon, future may actually turn out something like that.

in case you guys need me to spell it out for you. there IS nothing else that is available to us which we can invest in. its either manage to find the next thing in crypto or we dont make it. its that simple. there is no other asset class IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD which gives the kind of returns that crypto can and i dont know about you but i dont have 10-15 years left in me to try to find the 'next big thing' and hope to get in on the ground floor of that before it blows up.

Dont give up yet. Open your minds guys THINK. the next eth or doge, nft or whatever is around the corner right now and we can find it. if there was ever a time to start hunting for it that time starts now.
