No practice

I've had dreams and experienced synchronicities going back to age 14 but the closest thing to spiritual experiences I've had is falling in love. My desire is to become the love I had for those people and be perpetually aware of that.

I've suffered a lot and consider that spiritual

Is this a normal route to enlightenment, do I even need a practice

At the least, one needs to meditate.

What about just general contemplation of love and God

        That gets you nowhere.
And I hope you don't mean the israeli "god".

            Oh, I see.
            Mother Nature, then.
            That's good.
            Still, you need to meditate.
            Otherwise, there is no advancement.
            No practice =/= no movement.

If that were true, there wouldn't be 7 billion slobs walking the Earth.

You can be meditative without mediating

If a person doesn't have a conscious practice "I am practicing" doesn't mean they can't do the equivalent without noticing. Not everyone who attains enlightenment considered themselves even to be in a spiritual path

Meditation is supposed to help you break down beliefs and not enforce them. Sounds like you´ve been doing it wrong...

try piercing contemplations sensing and feeling their true meaning, related false assumptions and what is behind them. the best parts happen without thinking

By meditating for an hour I start to see all as love, out of all the spiritual things that can't be explained "seeing all as love" sounds like the most explainable but no, it's better and more fulfilling than we can imagine.
Much is about the level of consciousness, how do you perceive life and how much can you feel. By default our emotions are mute and misguided, this is how it feels like after experiencing the wider range feelings.
    >My desire is to become the love
What sort of desire, burning one that demands action? Suffering is needed to go far and fast, it also tends to leave us fricked up and unmotivated to put the work in, or fearful of what will be revealed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

The rankings are all messed up in your pic, peace is attained by cows and monkeys quite easily, we need it to enjoy basic pleasures like food. Most people do that.

I've been walking 12 hrs a day for 2.5 years due to an agitation in my head. Consider it 'movement meditation' otherwise I can't meditate.

I imagine perceiving love to be everywhere including yourself to be immensely fulfilling

    >enlightenment
this is a buzzword, it has no real value. you are seeking a word, because this "enlightenment" shit is just a word it has no fix concept attached to it.

there is no universal truth, you can figure out things in which you will have certitude, as you will research, you will find similar concepts coming over and over across completely different sources. you will start to form a belief out of it that will appease your soul.

you do not need to practice any "exercice", just think use your mind it will guide you.
