NO FUCKING WONDER USB DOESNT WORK ON AMD
No Fucking Wonder. Of course, 100-300A peak signal wont cause EMI on fucking USB lines.... Especially when dumb retards from MSI route their PCBs.
Now, combine that with:
- degrading silicon
- shit binning
- shit QC
- shit drivers
- shit reference BIOSes implementations
- shit power management
Why would I buy AMD ever again?
you fell for the AM4 meme
Idk bro I'm still earthrockin with a b450 with a 3600. I'm thinking about getting a 5700x or a 5800x3d. In 5 more years I might build another pc.
>but reeee intel
Look here. First of all, desktop intel doesn't have USB controller inside the CPU. Second, power is separated from signals, which doesn't let retards like MSI to make signal tracks pick up VRM noise.
>his CPU has VAX
NGMI
Works on my machine.
Works on my machine.
Works on my machine too
Same, works on my machine
doesn't work on my machine
this cannot be true as my oculus rift setup with 4 usb ports all plugged into the mobo was more stable than most other peoples with their 'faster' intel rigs
who paid you for this post OP?
Samsung semiconductor, why?
no they didn't
Very nice anon. Impressive. Tell me more.
> usb doesnt work on AMD
eh? what the hell are you even talking about?
i'm holding out for when they release openSIL (if ever)
I've been using AMD for 15 years now, and all of those were while using USB. In fact I am making this very post from a USB keyboard connected to an AMD powered computer. It has every USB port populated along with a hub that has 5 more things plugged in, and all of those things work just fine. What the fuck are you talking about?
ngl ive also had usb issues with my amd build, though to be fair i cheaped out on the mobo
>dude i have AMD and it just works
aaaand it unexpectedly restarted in idle again and i have to unplug the powercable and let it sit for few minutes or else it gets into crash restart loop every few seconds...
>AMD 7950X
>Asrock X670E Pro RS
>some 6000mhz ram with samsung chips
sometimes it is stable for weeks, sometimes it restarts unexpectedly in idle(or even not idle), sometimes it crashes so hard i need to unplug the power for few minutes or else it restarts over and over again after few seconds
Poorly assembled, poor RAM timings or faulty PSU.
>set timings for bdie kit
>set core optimizer settings
>rock solid
Much difficult.
