Nietzsche was a pshycopath

Kaufman deliberately censored Nietzsche of the words “extermination” and “breeding”, Here is a passage from Ecce Homo without the Kaufman whitewashing. Academia has gone out of their way to cover up the fact that Nietzsche was indeed a psychopath

An ad hominem people resort to when they don't like what the person is saying.

We already know he liked war, suffering, and liked the idea of eugenics.

When one looks at just the isolated parts of Nietzsche, they miss the whole

What's psychopathic about breeding? Number one. If it was a woman saying "I don't want to date you", you'd defend that, and we're talking about the same thing.
Number two. You also believe in people being exterminated. It's only the means you quibble on.

    >psychopath
nah, he suffers too often on an emotional level. he wouldn't understand guilt and bad conscience if he were one
but the Kaufmann whitewashing isn't necessarily off. the Cambridge translation is also closer to yours and uses "ruthless extermination" and "breeding".

    We know
    Read Aristocratic Rebel by Losurdo
It quotes stuff from his diaries and letters and other biographic material which clearly shows he's a psychopath. Academics started censoring him for some reason. They did the same with heidegger but it didn't work out.

You dont need to read 1k pages long winded marxist analysis to arrive at that conclusion

There's no other translated source for the biographic material in that book. Losurdo was given special access to nietzsche archives.

I doubt that is true. Maybe in 2004 when Losurdo wrote it it was harder to get access, but not now.

That's also only half of the distortion academia has done to Nietzsche; wait until you come to realize not only is the posthumous work titled "Will to Power" actually worth reading but is also essential to understanding Nietzsche's philosophy as a whole as well as containing many of his more direct and practical thoughts (ie giving a clearer picture of his political and moral thoughts, as opposed to the rest of his works which are generally more meta-political and meta-ethical).

It is not accurate to say that Kaufman deliberately censored Nietzsche's writings or that academia has attempted to cover up Nietzsche's alleged psychopathic tendencies. While there may be different interpretations of Nietzsche's work and ideas, his writings are widely available and have been subject to extensive scholarly analysis and debate over the years.

It is also important to note that Nietzsche's ideas and language were often provocative and controversial, and his work has been subject to different interpretations and critiques over time. However, it is not accurate to label him as a psychopath without a thorough and nuanced understanding of his work and ideas, which have been the subject of extensive academic study and discussion. It is important to approach any analysis of Nietzsche's work with a critical and nuanced perspective, rather than relying on sensationalized or simplistic interpretations.

Nietzsche was a failure in every relevant aspect of life. Some failures turn to a dissappointed life of burden. Some failures find personal happiness in a hobby. Some failures turn to edgelord-psychopath ideas and fantastical constructs to show how everyone else is beneath them, that they were cheated out of a great life through deception. Ideas, speech, behaviors similar to a hardened criminal or someone with real power emerge in such failures.
There is however a more sinister, possibly tinfoil hat answer. It is well-known that most famous people are connected. Mainstream historians may insist that Nietzsche was just a genius. But I'm sure that if we were to truly look into family ties, work ties, etc we would find Nietzsche to be yet another agent of the elite with the assignment of spreading navel-gazing individualism among the populace, spread confusion so that the populace would focus on everything except the real avenues to power, independence from outside forces, etc. If this is the case, then Nietzsche is a psychopath, but not in the way expected in this thread.
Understand that fantastical and philosophical descriptions of power are always different from real power, real connections, real ties. One does not simply adopt a "master morality" and become a master. One can afford to live carelessly (or in Nietzsche's words: in a master morality) only after one has become the master, and only in select circumstances. Sure you can argue endless "akshually Nietzsche says blah blah in beyond good and evil"'s. Maybe that's the point, to get you arguing irrelevant bullshit.

What does that make me then anon?

This comparison is irrelevant simply because you didn't make your entire life about becoming a master, adopting master's behavior pattern, criticizing those you thought were beneath you but were above you, etc. You didn't become famous for your screeds about how morality was created, etc. He was simp extraordinaire. Constantly wrote criticisms of things he didn't like. Psychologically, even according to Nietzsche, these are the marks of a failure no.

He's pointing out that the best eugenics/extermination program imaginable will just result in the same degeneracy arising again. Man has to embrace adversity completely, not just as a means to a utopian end.

Psychopaths are just sadists. The Neetchman actually had a purpose for his edgy opinions and thought his ideas would lead to good things. You may disagree with his solutions but calling him a psycho is braindead.

The current Dionysian state is intoxication from Christianity being too successful at providing things like comfort and reducing conflict.
If we remove Christianity and all its symptoms we will still have the seeds of the same problem. Life wants to avoid adversity, it only advances in response to pressures. If we build a mommy AI we will happily get lost in its bosom for a billion years. The negatives of Christianity will seem minor in comparison.

Christianity didnt provide comfort. A secular pursuit of science did. Need to be reminded of the dark ages? Are you retarded?

It's the central theme of his criticism of Christianity. The Dionysus reference relates Christianity to things like wine and opioids but you're illiterate, nothing means anything to you. According to him Greeks associated Christ with Dionysus because the Christian message is more about comforting you than for example calling you to heroic action like the Greek myths tended to do, what Nietzsche associates with an Apollonian spirit. In healthy life both should be interacting constantly instead of one taking complete control.
It's more about psychology but Christianity did provide material comfort despite the mindless commie propaganda you base your life on.

If you're not retarded just say something. A famous historian prodigy called Nietzsche saw Christianity as a force of psychological and material comfort that reduced conflict in the world. This lead to the weak breeding more successfully and memes that make people mentally weak spreading more.

              >Nietzsche is like totally unironically weak

Why the hell is Nietzsche so good at ripping of people's masks, whenever he is mentioned, half the thread suddenly fills with pro and anti nietzsche edgelords.

It's like a bunch of people go around, pretending they are good and moral agents, suddenly Nietzsche shows up and they start talking like complete edgelords, clowns and criminals.

              >Nietzsche's philosophy is wrong because he is like totally weak.
