collectible cards are great because 50% of all holders are true diamond hands. Like fully zealot diamond handed. NFT holders would be astonished if they were able to recognize the level of autism that keeps the pokemon card market swelling in value
i have a n64, commodore64 with all accessories, ps1 lots of games
I'm a mtg fag with meh tier collection, all my cards are before the niggening. Don't think it will be worth anything though but the cards give me such good memories since I have photographic memory.
no it’s not you fucking retarded FUD homosexual. everyone who has them including me thinks they are worth more than they are now and refuses to sell. unless there is blood in the streets and empty stomachs no one is letting go of their shinys anytime soon
Nice man I have Emerald, Red and Gold all with 100% perfect labels. It was really hard to find ones in such perfect condition. Also I have Diamond and Platinum complete also in perfect condition. I think having them in either sealed or flawless condition is going to affect the demand a lot, since it's hard to find (basically impossible on ebay).
Thanks senpai, I've never found a micro in the wild. Plenty of the 2nd Gen SP though. Before I thought of putting money into investments I just built up a collection and only sold doubles. Old Nintendo, Yugioh, Magic and Pokemon too. I feel too lucky that it's still worth something for now, but I may just get frames and save them forever.
If I had my loose carts out it would be more impressive, but sadly
hasn't that bubble already burst? imagine paying $1 million dollars for a Super Mario Bros cartridge when I can just download the rom and play for free lmao
No they didn't, because very few Saturn games were ever ported, and the few that were ported were only sold digitally. >t. bought Saturn Bomberman for $10, Panzer Dragoon Saga for $300, Mr. Bones for $5 and Magic Knight Rayearth for $100
I mean they said they were worthless. People treated it like trash. Wii U is going to age like fine wine just like the Saturn, and people who scramble to buy a Wii for nostalgia will prefer to have a Wii U since it has an hdmi output.
Saturn’s worth came more so because it’s difficultly to emulate. Protip: that sets the price more than nostalgia. Bonus Protip: the original Xbox is still cheap to buy and you can still find games for it sealed under 20 bucks that will be considered cult classics (otagi).
I think its worth came from the fact is was pure kino and underrated. Wii U gives me the EXACT same vibe, people were manipulated by the gaming press to hate Wii U and its games, for instance Star Fox Zero. Any objective observer in 10 years will realize Star Fox Zero was a good game all along and you literally NEED the Wii U and gamepad to experience it. It's no different than needed a Saturn and a 3D Pad to fully enjoy NiGHTs--a game that also got shit on by the gaming press--one that aged extremely well and is in demand with purists.

I hope so since I own a the rare Wind Waker edition. But there’s a lot of factors at play that dictate future market value on this shit.
I saw an old price list from 2004 recently and even back then some Saturn and Sega CD games were pricey. Some games like Panzer Dragoon Saga have never been cheap since that one sold out in 3 days, or others that were only available through mail-order.
There was actually an opportunity with the Wii U until recently. The European version of Devil's Third was $20 Brand New. I bought a copy myself but the game sucks so I didn't want to take the risk. Kicking myself now though.
>my retro video game bags have been pumping non-stop for 10 years now.
I've made more money selling games over the past 2 years then i have off any shitcoin.
I live in a pretty rural part of the world (not a shithole though) so i don't have direct access to some uber rare/expensive stuff like AES, or weird PC engine shmups like Sapphire, but because i got into this stuff relatively early i do have all the classics, as well as some cool stuff like a CIB iQue N64, For Asian Singapore/Malaysia Only Super Mario 64, English SEGA PC copy of Sakura Wars 4 (can't find this anywhere online not even photos), Factory sealed Minish Cap, etc etc.
Everything across the board has been dumping in price except for video games.
I'm still getting frequent sales, and haven't had to adjust my prices over the year.
Same here. I don't live in America or Japan so importing everything has added an extra layer of difficulty considering most sellers won't ship internationally. Do you have an XVI? I had to clench out 3 months of shipping via boat.

I bought Otagi about 6 years ago for that price. Pretty sure it's much more expensive now.
If you are an Ausbro i know your feel. >Do you have an XVI?
Not yet, looking for one in nice condition at a reasonable cost.

>tfw sold Otogi 2 mid 2020 before it did a 3x
Nice, but I’ve been sitting on stock for awhile. I’m guessing we’ll get another boom like in 09 when every mom and pop opened a vintage game store. It’s going to be surreal seeing fucking MGR and Bayo 1 be considered “vintage”. But the real money is in the autistic obscure shit. If the dolphin emulator didn’t progress, I would say the wiiU would be the next Saturn. As it stands, it will probably be priced similar to the Dreamcast. Certain items being outrageous while others being a dime a dozen.

I'm actually expecting Vita stuff to go that way more than anything else.
Lots of weeb hentai shit, low sales, with it also being a good pathway for Switch owners to go down.

How do you even store physical discs? I got a big collection of PS2 games that I keep in a big case and they all ended up with mold at the back. I can't even enjoy the kino that is AC Zero
I've just been accumulating hundreds of games. They will skyrocket in due time especially wii u. That system didn't sell well and population of games is very small comparatively.
I just have them graded to protect the games from damage. Definitely agree with you on wata pump and dump ponzi nonsense but I use vga too. Slowest turnaround time because it's actually really cheap and allows people to see the condition without sending a million photos of the cellophane
Nice man. I have a sealed copy of Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast, probably my hottest potato as far as sealed games goes. I paid only $50 for it in 2010.
Pokemon cards
I got a bunch of holos before the pokemon craze. Never selling
I'm loaded down with both, still have a HUGE folder of Pokemon cards, all 1996 prints, that I have never sold from my childhood

My favorites out of my stuff
bubbles keep happening because the money we use is worthless and the only way anyone can get ahead is to grift and scam each other.
It's about scarcity and demand. And both are obviously there for classic Nintendo and SEGA stuff.

>posts the worst xenoblade game
That xeno 2 dude
Xenoblade X is probably the best in the series, /v/cels need some esoteric convoluted plotline for a game to be good I guess.

Xenoblade X is great.
The game is a piece of shit, anon
1 is the best one overall. X is autism kino. 2 is weeb cringe.

I've been stacking the shit out of one specific pokemon game waiting for it, and I will continue
Which one?

Kino collection. The best stuff I got is a complete in box Virtual Boy, and maybe my complete Master System. Also have a complete Game Boy Micro.

Wii U games are worthless bro, everything was ported to the Switch
People said the same shit about Saturn games. I bought my copy of NiGHTs into dreams SEALED for $10 in the 2000s on ebay.
10. fucking. dollars.
No they didn't, because very few Saturn games were ever ported, and the few that were ported were only sold digitally.

Karl Jobst already made a video explaining the classic video game scam and fake appraisers
God I hope so. I’ve got a ton of classics.

Nah, even worse. Trade protectionist Europe, where they try to force 20% import tax on everything.
