And what do you do if you want to want something, but can't want it or want to stop wanting it. What if you can want to want something then? Which way should you choose in such a situation? What if there are conflicting desires in your nature? Your answer only answers those who are consumed by their lusts.

You're talking spiritual aspirant that is dissolving their egoic desires vs. a person who serves their ego.

      Anonymous

Wanting a thing and wanting to stop wanting a thing doesn't exist, that's addiction, you don't want the thing, you crave it
If you want but you can't, do it, take it, don't allow people to dedice what you can do or not
Don't confuse desire with will, and if something conflicts with another person's will you can just sublimate it

        Anonymous

Both aspects of wanting or not wanting something are real and morality or other people's opinions don't matter and are not of any effect. You are not addicted to either decision. I am saying following what you want is illogical unless you have a strongly held reason. The reason of I just want it is self serving and pointless, as is serving yourself. Yourself is limited and you will be dissatisfied with consumption of your own lusts. The only answer is to submit yourself to God, and serve the other in the context of serving God through the process. The other way is the path to being consumed by desire rather than putting it in its proper context. In order to truly serve oneself, you must serve the good, not what you want. It is not motivated by rules or an attempt of being good, but genuine love and actually caring. To be meek does not mean to be mean however. It means to do what the person needs not wants. Often times you must be patient and plant seeds, while watering them for it to come to fruition. Never control. Only inspire the best.

Your philosophy has a poor ending.

There's no god but man, you exist to delight yourself with the glory of creation, to fully experience this wonderful world the Creator granted us
You are not a slave to other people desires, you own nothing to society, you are a star in your own path
To refuse this gift is the greatest sin you can ever commit, it's refusing your own nature that was made to be free

No one falls to destructive hedonism without hating life and wanting to escape from it. One who enjoys to live the moment and loves this world won't become drunk in harmful pleasures

The only variable is time. One will eventually give in to the darkness or choose the light. Some are more resilient than others, and sone are more persistent, but at a certain point you reap what you sow. The feeling of pleasure only last so long. Could even be to the end of your life, but then what do you have?

The light is to love creation and delight yourself while praising it
I will say one more one time, the only people who have this problem are the ones who seek pleasure as escapism and hate to be awake

The light is the creation. Who created it if there is no creation? Who could worship something that will fade? We are eternal being and I am not an animal who's only hope is in what I feel. I seek to become, and staying in this mode causes degeneration. I will not be asleep by accepting that this is all there is. Your awareness is the deepest sleep of all.

Why you want to become? To fill a lack of meaning on your ego, a sensation of inferiority or lack of progress?
There's nothing but comtemplation of this great work of the Creator, where you can have many fun adventures, you want to feel feelings superior than instantaneous pleasure, and that's not incompatible to what I say

You are very adept at demon dialogs. However, i do not wish to be anything. I seek no reward and I avoid no punishment. I simply want to be that which the creator has made me to be. For some that may be a demon, but God is funny in the way that he lets us choose. I felt your opinion was rather one sided, so I am offering another perspective. I am grateful for what I have. I am grateful for my existence, but I believe to become attaches to what I have would destroy me, because we must be willing and able to reject that which is contrary to who we are and vice versa.

The Creator made you to want to be what he made you to be. To reject what which is contrary to who you are wouldn't be to exert your True Will over what society and people impose against you?

            Anonymous

It is not my will, but his will that must be done. The imposition of the ideas of society are evil, but so are some of mine. But he has given me the ability to transform those desire not by brainwashing, but through realization of identity, forgiveness, freedom, and transformation. The pursuit of the self is ultimately slavery.

It is not a matter of what I want, but what he wants. I know pleasing myself will never please myself as I am finite, but I seek to be one with the eternal. It is not to please myself, but to be what it is I am to be. I want to be this because I love him. That is the reason. He is my father and I love him, and I have felt his love. I want others to know his love.

            Anonymous

Why the Creator who loves you, would make you to want different things than what he wants you to become?
Your True Will is his will for you, you are thinking that pleasing yourself means to succumb to desire and addiction
Do what thou wilt, if you truly love life you won't fall to instant gratification. Have the job you want to have instead of the one who gives the more money, do what you want to do independently of other people opinions and etc
He didn't make you to be a slave

It is not my will, but his will that must be done. The imposition of the ideas of society are evil, but so are some of mine. But he has given me the ability to transform those desire not by brainwashing, but through realization of identity, forgiveness, freedom, and transformation. The pursuit of the self is ultimately slavery.

The realization of identity is nothing more the realization of your True Self, freedom is to do what is your True Will
To pursue your lower self is naiveness, and to think the lack of self is a solution is the ultimate slavery
Be your True Self, which is still yourself, selflessness is a disease

The answer to that why is to have a choice. I do not seek the destruction of self, but the death of the fake self in order to be th real self. There is a time to do what you want, but that is when your want is perfected. Until then, your want must be killed before your real self is realized.

The Creator made you want to be what he wants you to be, and you still have a choice by refusing the divine light (which would be a bad choice)
If you refuse everything you want, you will end refusing your True Will unknowingly, worse, you may become passive to society morals and ideas of selflessness that are used to manipulate you, making you to think your True Will is "selfish", and being "selfish" is a bad thing
Be yourself and improve yourself, to rebirth is not needed on this Aeon

            Anonymous

No rebirth is needed. I have already killed much of myself. The demons were one thing, but the self was the most complicated. It is still in progress. My spirit was reborn already, but my soul is not fully in line with my spirit and his spirit. I seek unity with God, and therefore sanitization must occur or else I will be destroyed in his presence.

He wants us to develop the self, by rejecting parts of the self that are good, and rejecting parts that are bad. This doesn't mean to feed your negative aspects negativity, but to simply starve them out and replace then with the proper context of the attribute in perfect execution. We are not automatons but rather specialized and individualized beings. To kill the self does not mean to cease to exist or kill the ego. It means to redirect the ego to become fully realized, but that involves to be made low. We must decrease so that he may increase, and thus we also increase, but we give it to him as a living sacrifice.

It is when your will becomes God's will that things become magical. However that cannot happen here on earth fully until you are given a new body. Your body will continue to what things your spirit doesn't want regardless of how much you try.

Your True Will is the Creator's will, you are complicating things just to see him as a master. Your body is not a bad thing, without it you wouldn't be able to experience many aspects of creation, you are here to enjoy it

Your body is like a car that sometimes wants to veer to the right or left, when there are ditches down below. It is not all bad, but as of now, due to its temporary and programmed nature, it can desire destructive things. It can be mostly tamed, but not completely. I want the body that is already given all of the correct impulses so I don't have to fight them as much. I think this conversation is not getting anywhere so I'll just stop. I did find your arguments interesting, but ultimately I disagree.

It's fun, otherwise the Creator wouldn't have created it in that way. It's not the objective, but going through the path that matters. An imperfect body creates a journey
