What new name did you pick for yourself when you transitioned? (and what was your old name if you feel comfortable sharing). How did you decide on it?

When you choose to incarnate as a transbian you have a slot in your character creation screen where you can pick which name you want to have after trooning out. The possibilities are natalie, lilith, luna, alice and emily. If you get it wrong you die painfully. The best way of finding out which one your immaterial soul picked is to see which one gives you a harder boner
all the other ones are very stereotypical but I've never heard of natalie being lumped into that category. feel like that one's pretty uncommon, or like a normal level of uncommon for a name.
I didn't choose any of those
I've seen a lot name themselves after natalie mars
mine is Natalie but only because it's the feminine version of my birth name and what my dad used to call me when I was just a lil fag. I told him I had changed my name to that and he got upset thinking his teasing me when I was younger caused me to transition, but nowadays he sees it more as he named me
reading this made me sad until i got to the end and now I think that's kinda a cute story maybe. it depends on how you feel about it, but if you are happy about that last part then I'm happy for you anon
totally fine it with haha he's very supportive
I have an androgynous name and considering climbing out of repper hell, would probably just keep my same name.
Though when I presented as a girl online in middle/high school, I would always use the name "Emma".
i went with anika. i hope it's not too clocky (im indian)
I think that's a cute name. I don't think it's too clocky
twins!
not clocky at all imo
what's your deadname, if you're willing to share? just curious
i'm probably going to go with Eliza
it feels unique enough that I don't know anyone with the name, but elizabeth is really common so the name shouldn't seem unusual
my boy name is also in that image, but further down.
Also it doesn't make sense to link a 2022 baby names image as nobody here was born in 2022
went with maria
i'm half salvadoran and half dutch, its my grandma's middle name
life is short
find the hottest name and name yourself after that
some months ago a girl on this board changed her name to something like diaper e-boi and everyone thought it was retarded but it actually makes sense
you live 1 life and go for a boring ass name instead of something that makes your gock tingle?
I'm not into diapers but if I had a second chance I'd name myself rias gremory or something like sierra starr
"diaper e-boi" is not a name
Anything is a name if youre bold enough.
Picked Jessica when i was like 5 cause it was kinda similar to my deadname and just rolled with that when i came out to my friends
always thought Rachel might be nice but idk if its that good and seems like too much effort now that most people close to me are used to Jess
when you were 5?? how old are you now?
20 but almost 1 year hrt, its not like i knew what being trans was or anything back then it was just my 'if i were a girl id pick this' name
that's impressive that you were thinking about it all the way back then...
Feminine version of my birth name. My parents are immigrants from a european country with a funny language so my birth name and current name are both weird sounding to American ears.
Lisa. I met an Addison at school, never heard that name before a month ago.
This is Tranner flagging.
what does this mean?
Basically, the webcomic "Homestuck" was so popular in 2011-2015 among teens that a large number of transmascs named themselves after the character above (Dave.) He was not a canon transgender man, but represented an easily accessible cosplay for kids experimenting with their gender at cons.
Later, during the Homestuck Renaissance of 2018-2020, a new generation of trans youth and older, freshly-cracked eggs named themselves after another (canon) transwoman character (June.)
So if you see Daves, Dirks, Junes or Junipers, chances are the webcomic is their namesake.
bro i remember all my cis f anime con friends cosplay dave lmao, i wonder how many trooned.
Tfw I kind of like the name Amber but that's my rich Cousin's name
I picked Stella a while ago but I haven't asked anyone to call me it.
oh hey I'm a Stella too!
Picked Vanessa as a first name. Currently stuck on middle names. Thinking of making one of them Amelia because I had a dream once where everyone called me that and when I woke up it took me a solid 5 minutes of thought to remember what my name was.
Also it means I can tell people it was reveal to me in a dream.
The other idea is just the female version of my full deadname (the short version is gender-neutral) but idk if I wanna be associated with that.
Maya :
im on the list wooo
