I love being a white straight man. I can do whatever I want, think whatever I want, be whoever I want, without any ressentiment. The only other groups with this level of complete and utter freedom are Japs and Filipinos, the other master races.

Have you ever met a Filipino? They're literally all based and chill dudes

I've only known one Filipino and his entire personality and life revolved around Kobe Bryant. He was surprisingly good at hiding his power level in public and managed to get a girlfriend somehow, but his entire apartment was decked out in Kobe Bryant merch which was where he invested all of his money and his favorite pastime was to rewatch Kobe Bryant basketball games or talk about Kobe Bryant to anybody that would listen.
I haven't seen him since Kobe's fatal helicopter crash but I imagine he has a little Kobe Bryant shrine with a portrait and candles and he kisses his fingers then presses them gently against Kobe's lips before leaving the house in the morning.
So my sample size probably isn't big enough to make an informed opinion on the subject.

I live in LA near a lot of Filipinos. The ones I know love the Lakers more than anybody else. Especially Kobe.

Me, I read some Butler and Mosley recently and enjoyed them well enough. I don't mind black authors as long as they aren't trying to push identity politics through their work, same goes for white authors.
