That doesn't mean we have no way of discerning truth. Because none of that implies anything about the soul.
The "man" is not the soul. So the point here is not to listen to how your illusion of a "human" interprets things, but instead to listen to your soul which is divine.

Many, many, many people "listen to their soul" and it takes them to Hell.
Then I would say they're not actually listening to it.
They may hear it but then they re-interpret it through their distorted "mind". And then when they act accordingly the soul screams and they ignore it.
Nobody who truly follows their soul, and follows it faithfully, can be led astray.

Simply wrong. Human nature is inherently evil and without direct divine intervention (Jesus) the only place you will wind up is Hell, by indulging your whims and "listening to your soul". On your own, without God, your soul is evil and so is mine.
