>muh portability

>I need my laptop to be small and portable, the point of laptops is to fit in my tiny gay purse, y'know?
>I also need my laptop to have batteries that lasts an entire day, because cables are icky.
Most of you don't even leave the house at all, and I doubt anyone here actually does gay shit like doing their daily WFH job at a cafe or something.
When you go around asking for cheap durable laptops that aren't too old yet, you will get flooded with T480 recommendations for the reasons meme arrows' reasons.
But the true redpill is that you will stay stationary for vast majority of the time anyway, and normally you will have a power socket nearby to run your laptop at max performance without worries.
In short? P50 is the true white man's choice for a better T480 but without the gay portability excuses.
It is the defacto successor to the highly acclaimed T430/X230, and it is going to last an entire decade just like they did.
T480 shills don't fucking @ me.

Unironically this. If you're doing CAD work, use a desktop. If you're just typing shit up and using Excel, an X200 is the patrician's choice.

      t. unironically posting this from an X200

umm, I just own a desktop and a laptop
I use one at home and the other away from home. problem solved.
and it's better for either use case than this weird jack of all trades thing you're doing (I stopped reading halfway through)

Of course I want my laptop to be portable. I only use it on the go: in cafes, trains, hotels. At home, I have a desktop computer with three 24" monitors. Why would I use a laptop there?

lol this but the other way around
i actually want it to be as least portable as possible
people buy tiny laptops because they get too self conscious about using it outside and get scared of people glaring at them
i want huge laptops because they stand the fuck out as if i'm marking my territory
you think people are mocking me for using a laptop that takes the entire bar desk
but i think they're jealous because they're incapable of not giving a single shit like me

being bigger is objectively worse for a laptop, but you are right is not the end of the world. so what are the advantages you get going to a bigger, heavier and power hungry laptop?

Normal people are given laptops for work because it allows them to work in the office or at home

But you're obviously just a terminally online virgin who has never been employed

Hi, I'm just writing here cause I haven't seen a better thread to post this in,

I'm thinking of buying a Lenovo Yoga 720-13ikb laptop with an i5 and 8Gb ram. The thing is that I have come across a second hand one that has only the screen broken and I want to buy it to change the screen panel.

Would you guys recommend this or am I stupid?
