I think that traditionally clocky names like Luna or Alice or whatever are really only clocky to fellow tranners or at least people who know a lot of tranners
kek well i dont have a black ghetto name no. its actually an unisex name but sounds feminine. i liked that idea as im basically living between sexes anyway being bio male but look like a bio girl
alice and lily are the most clockable names i can think of
DO NOT name yourself after a trans character that is actual vomit and extremely clocky
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT use the female version of your deadname that is instantly clockable
other than that the most clocky names i can think of are like emma or olivia, but maybe im just brainwormed there. i think those are just really popular female names
the least clocky name is something like barbara or mary ann. people will be so distrated by your old lady name they wont even think about your clockiness.
tfw parents were going to name me "alison". every time i get sad about not being born female i think about this and i like actually maybe it was for the better.
Anyone else feels like chosing your own name is a bit weird?
I want my last surviving parent to chose mine.
I feel like that's in the order of things.
Sadly he's massively transphobic.
I always thought it'd be fun to go by a pseudonym in a group chat n pick a name based on what people thought my name was. "You seem like a____" would be an interesting way to pick I think
imo the major mistake that a lot of trans women make is picking a name that is uncommon for someone their age. imagine meeting a 20 year old named Agatha.
I think another one is picking something culturally irrelevant/distant to you. Like "Liv" would be a weird name for an American tranner but it's perfectly fine for a Norwegian one
Most clocky
>Alice
>Ana
>Lain
Least clocky
>My name
go with a noun, those are cool
I think that traditionally clocky names like Luna or Alice or whatever are really only clocky to fellow tranners or at least people who know a lot of tranners

>trans woman named alice
Is she ten feet tall?
most clocky :
alice
luna
lucy/lucie
lilith (there is exactly zero cis lilith)

My mom's name is Lily 🙁
its fine if youre cis and its a cute name but if you already look clocky being named something like that is going to render passing impossible
dont pick an old lady name
emma/emily is the most common name for girls born from 2000-2010 and olivia is up there too.
these aren't clocky, they're extremely generic
like i said i think the only reason i see a lot of trans girls with those names is because theyre just common names
Is Grace a good name for a black tranny? I'm not 100% set on it but I feel like it'd be a perfect middle name once I find a first good name
grace is clocky go for
I think something like Jashanna or Destiny would be a better fit
Finding a name is so hard... How does everyone else make it look so easy.
Going by my birth year gives some of the most boring white af names, and I could never ask my parents what they would've named me. It's impossible
I feel like most black women I know have multisyllabic names that start with a. Alaysha, Ariana, Amaya, Amira, etc
How clocky is Mika? I chose the name very quick and don't regret it but feel like its a tranny name
Pronounced like mee-kah or mai-kah
Alice
Yasmin is the most clockly name for brown mtfs
lmao the only other brown trans girl i know irl is called yasmin
I was named David now I'm Diana. Good choice?
terrible choice
I'm just going with what my parents would have named me if I was a girl. I think this usually turns out the most reasonable
tfw parents were going to name me "alison". every time i get sad about not being born female i think about this and i like actually maybe it was for the better.
I picked my name but turned out that's what my mom wanted to name a girl so kek
Melinda
To most people, no names are clocky.
To trannies, Alice, Emily, Lily, Sarah, Luna and any other name that lots of cis girls also have.
