More shit from the French government.

Hello fellow French LULZentoomen. How are you coping with our government trying to censor the Internet while reducing our freedoms?
If you don't speak French, use machine translation to read this article. It sums up this new law project quite well.

    >Oh no, now child porn removal is actually enforced
    >Oh no, now bans are actually enforced
    Get fucked.

      >Oh no, now porn age limit is actually enforced
They will enforce it by requiring you to identify yourself. Do you really trust a random porn site with your identity?
      >Oh no, now child porn removal is actually enforced
It's already enforced, but the requirements will get so strict that hosters will be forced to use flawed machine learning models to detect and censor content.
      >Oh no, now bans are actually enforced
Again, this will require platforms to have access t your real identity. Besides, I don't think that the government should have the power to ban you from social media, especially for "cyberbullying".

You also forgot to mention that they want to censor the Internet at the browser level, because apparently, doing it at the DNS level is no longer enough for them. This is just insane.

Child porn removal is at the request of the police. Not about pre-emptive removal, you're an idiot.
If the police notify the service that it's child porn, you remove them. Why do you need more than 24 hours for it? Gotta download them for personal use, pedo?

What if you went on a week long vacation? This law, like many others, is designed assuming every website is the size of facebook, so that complying with the law is impossible for anybody else. Suppose there was a case where while you were sleeping, you, your host, and their isp, were all sent notices at the same time regarding some child porn. The host can't wait for you to wake up to take it down, becaue they risk their isp being forced to drop service. So instead they're forced to take you offline while you're still sleeping. If 24 hours isn't so long that pedophiles won't have a chance to save a copy, then surely they could extend it to a week and ensure that a server admin has a chance to even see the notice before they're legally liable.

Surely there's liability for the hoster.
That thought is the only thing stopping me from creating an unmoderated LULZ clone.

Just stop watching porn. The focus on these arguments in any way only detracts from your main point.
        >You also forgot to mention that they want to censor the Internet at the browser level, because apparently, doing it at the DNS level is no longer enough for them. This is just insane.
        This is the legitimate threat.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Sure all of these actually sound like good ideas like porn age, cp, and bans being more enforced, but fake porn sites will appear asking for ID and using it for fraud and de-anonymization. CP being removed, this will have false positives and negatives. ML for content moderation is the worst thing that happened to the internet.

I was hacked by a french guy but damn he really is getting punished.

You should have been freaking out approx. 20 years ago. Too late now mon ami, your countrys' elites have a morbid fascination with importing migrants from your former colonies. They need these laws to control the brown and black hordes.

I support anything that makes the internet worse. Widespread easily accessible porn is one of the greatest weapons of pacification ever created. Maybe if people stop jacking off all the time we can get started with decapitating the elites.
