that's pretty much Daisy by Brand New
I saw Drive Like Jehu in a great YouTube documentary on alternative rock (more specifically the wave of bands signed after nirvana, the great grunge-rush) and that short live clip of them was AMAZING, interlocking guitars riff, good stuff.
So I downloaded the albums and… what gives? Where is that?
Hot Snakes - Suicide Invoice
Blake - Collected Works: 1996-1999
Brainiac - Bonsai Superstar
One Last Wish - 1986
Antioch Arrow - Gems of Masochism
Pleb
Ok so their albums suck, gotcha
Cope, Mald, Seethe, Etc.
these are amazing recs as well, although I feel smack bunny baby would be better over bonsai superstar
I'll think more later, but obviously At the Drive In. Check out the Vaya EP
just go to rym chart for post-hardcore and go from the top
if you want lesser known phc (crossing into noise rock if you like textures in your musics): lync, six finger satellite, scratch acid, dazzling killmen, pissed jeans, cows, cherubs, arab on radar
Garbage. Listen to actual refined emo like Dashboard and Bright Eyes instead.
>listen to these homosexual twink emo bands instead
Are you trying to make OP a homosexual?
The next modest mouse album, lonesome midwest, if u haven't already
Rites of Spring, Brand New, at the drive in, comrade, birds in a row, Gospel

Check out Unwound. Any album will do they are all good.
I was just about to say this. Although, I'd specifically recommend Fake Train.
Hell yeah, anon. I saw them like a month ago and they ended their show with Valentine Card / Kantina / Were, Are And Was Or Is. So fucking good.
I'm going to Modest Mouse, Slowdive, Janes Addiction, and Smashing Pumpkins next month, but I would trade them all to see Unwound live. Did they perform Dragnalus? The strength of that opener alone would level a concert hall.
Nice, Slowdive are great live too. Haven't seen the others. Unwound did two shows in Seattle (where I live) and according to setlist they played Dragnalus the other night. But yeah it's an awesome song for sure. Show was super fun and yeah the crowd was great. Would definitely recommend making an effort to see them if you ever get a chance. I went by myself so I ended up just chatting with different people over the course of the night and a lot of them came a long way for the show.
