Anon’s own addendum: to Christians, Muslims, israelites or anyone else of goodwill, no offense is meant or belittling of your religion, overly strong as I may have come on in my earlier posts. If anything, there is nothing but the greatest respect I have for the wisdom to be found in these traditions. If you disregard this and still view it as blasphemous to your faith to even bring up such perspectives as these, then I hope we can at minimum agree to disagree with no ill-will meant, even if I am deluded, in the wrong, or “on a dangerous path.” Peace and goodwill towards all men on Earth.

(Also, I am not a Freemason nor urging anyone to enter Freemasonry; interestingly, Manly P. Hall wasn’t even initiated as a Mason before he wrote all of these works; he joined and eventually progressed AFTER already writing quite a lot of his works, which were based both on publicly available research he could find, both about and directly from Masonry and other sources, and on extremely obscure texts he scoured libraries, the bookshops of antiquarian collectors, very old and rare alchemical manuscripts, etc. for).

Finally, even if you take the view that this is all the sinister work of dark occult forces, you have to at least respect Manly Hall for putting it all out so you can see what “your possible enemies” are up to.

Apparently, there's also another chapter included in some versions of the book, which is a reprinting of an Alchemical manuscript. My copy doesn't have it, but Sacred Texts lists it in their directory.

If you are talking about secret teachings I don't recall there being much theorizing tbh. It was mostly just a summary of beliefs and overview of important terms.

Of course its just a combination of other writings, its called the secret teaching of all ages. It wouldn't be what it claimed if it wasn't sourced from old material.

You got the sauce? Id love to read it. I went through /x/'s occult reading list a few years back and, except for the original occultists like blavatski, steiner, crowley, and gurgief (to name a few, and even there they were mostly derivative which isn't inherently bad), there was very little that diverged from halls summaries in the secret teachings.

Hope is a dangerous thing.
