Why? Having faith organizes your psyche in a compelling way.

Who cares if there's a literal heaven.

Most Christians (even biblical literalists) don't seem to mind this guy. It's the Jesus mythicists who hate him.

Yeah, that's why they debate him and constantly try to discredit him, lol.

Hindus, israelites, Christians, Muslims had faith in him, but no more. OP is right, he is his own worst enemy. He had it all but then lost it. Should have kept his mouth shut when he was ahead.

We lost faith in him years ago. Now our faith is wholly in G-D.

Yes, it was he who made me lose my faith in him. I had faith in Bart Denton Ehrman, but he became a loser, so I have no faith in him anymore.

The chance meeting of Sting and Sting took place when singer Sting was doing a show at the Carolina Coliseum in South Carolina on a Saturday night, and the wrestler Sting was on the wrestling card for the following afternoon.

    >believes in atheism which is an incoherent worldview from which you can't have causality or intelligibility
    >tries to tell me about my worldview which is the only worldview that allows for intelligibility.
Can non Christians get any dumber than this?

How does being Christian make you intelligible?

        Anonymous

Only the Christian God has the characters' set to allow for intelligibility as He is truth revealing, we can have through him causality, and uniformity of nature and a mind that can state logical inferences

In an atheist worldview, you cannot check for uniformity of nature and that we are not living in a chance universe where there is no causality which means that the chemical reactions in your brain won't necessarily result in logical inferences. In an atheist worldview, you cannot even be sure that you were not created 2 second ago with memories loaded into you.

Check Van til, Greg Bahnsen and John frame to know how atheism and literally all other worldviews are incoherent even when it comes to so called other monotheists faith like pisslam where their god is calling himself the best of deceivers and deceived the followers of Jesus by placing a double which mean that he can never be trusted as he is not a truth revealing god and also the big mistakes found in the quran like he doesn't even know what the trinity is (quran states that the trinity is allah, issa and mary).

Everyone has a starting point aka a worldview. All other starting points beside Christianity don't allow for intelligibility. Check Darth Dawkins or other presupp apologists' debates on youtube to know the intricacies of this argument

I've seen him look like a dumbass when talking about Biblical contradiction with some Catholic guy that dressed like a Texas cowboy
He talked about Jesus' genealogies being different in the gospels. Then cowboy guy just did the -> one is Mary's, one is Joseph's. Or something simple like that.
He may have been dumbfounded, cuz that's such a silly thing to say.
But it didn't really come off like that, he just had no response

I don't get it. It's such a precooked defense. Has he never heard it before?

He was going easy on him since he was a catholic and pretty obviously a halfwit.
        > The differences between between the Nativities is because Joseph owned a vacation house in Egypt despite being a dirtpoor carpenter
I mean the guy didn't even know what the Bible said about what the resurrected Jesus said to his disciples. I'd also be pretty dumbfounded from that.
