Checked. I don't know why spergs are upset. This really is the best way. The fastest route is to be in a constant state of mindfulness so that carries over into your dreaming state. The longer "shortcuts," all involve techniques that build off of this. WILD will fail if you forget about your intent the moment you fall into a dream.
Dreaming requires a lot of mental discipline. You can do it in months just by recording all of your dreams and paying attention to them. It's like asking how to bench your body weight. The most efficient workout plans still take months and require patience.
Different method
- go to sleep
- set up your alarm between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM
- woke up
- go get to drink some water
- get back to your bad
- sleep
You'll get more vivid dreams with this method, after several times you'll eventually figur it out how to be a lucid dreamer. One important thing, do not look at the daylight after you woke up, process the information you've received through the dreams. If you look at the daylight, than you'll forgot everything.
don't listen to this anon
he's a vampire trying to trick you into blocking the sun so he has more time to suck your blood like the homosexual he is
just remember your dreams and don't worry about the sun and you'll keep your blood and your memories
Just to annoy you a bit anon, I can do it, completely natural, never had to even try it.
Thing is, for me to achieve this, I had to live with sleep paralysis all my childhood and young adulthood. I'm talking several per night, to the point where it became an nuisance more than anything.
It's fun, not gonna lie, specially when you choose to dream you have sex with whoever you want.
why do you need to read books on lucid dreaming? luciddreaming is pretty obvious I don't see why you'd need to read a whole book on such a simple concept
Spin around. Unironically it stabilises the dream. Balance and movement are closely related to visual information. Linking your subconscious stronger to your dream body instead of your physical one.

Keep a dream journal and if someone tells you otherwise call them a retard. If you don't keep a dream journal for a few months at least it won't matter how many reality checks, self-suggestions or techniques you try to use you'll be working on quicksands.
I had a strange dream. My mom asked me to pray for black haired girl who was dying. She showed me her picture but I didnt meet anyone looking like her irl. It was semi-lucid one. What could it mean?
Have you guys had dreams that you were sure that you was dreaming but still didnt take control?
Like: im lucid, but I want to keep in this dream. Or: im lucid but i dont want control.
Yeah can let the dream take you, It's a good way to just explore the unconscious and see what pops up.
The flipside is there's a good chance you'll forget you're in a dream again.
I haven't been able to be in total control of a dream yet. I had one where I tried to fly, took a running start, flew about 10m up then fell. My face inches away from the ground. Still flying but almost scraping my face off on the floor. Did that a couple of times then said fuck it. Dream didn't want me to fly high.
James Watson had a dream of the double helix structure of DNA before he discovered it.
Maybe not so much rewriting, but there's information in dreams hidden from the conscious.
Dream journals are gay. There is a shortcut to lucid dreaming. Throughout the day, just make a habit of trying to prove to yourself that you *are* dreaming. Try to believe that the most mundane of things and occurrences are in fact bizarre confabulations:
"is money real?"
"am i sure cars exist?"
"have i always needed to breathe?"
google you moron
>reality checks
>dream journal
that's it you just need to make it your routine and be patient
NO
nagger nagger nagger

Not OP but are there any adjusted methods for people who are naturally biphasic / polyphasic sleepers?

Every since I was a kid, my mother always said, "...if you look out the window, you will forget your dreams."
Don't you just keep your mind awake while ignoring the physical checks your body will give you before paralysis and eventually dream state?
aka
-bug crawlies
-itches
-etc
It's extremely hard for me. Some people are naturals at it and it makes me jelly

This one
Sorry i meant the post above it
Here
Thank you!
question everything all the time forever
i'm bored af
>figures out you are dreaming
>becomes lucid
>wake up in 2 minutes
How can I fix that?
Repeat to yourself 'it's okay to be awake with my body still asleep.'
Your mind wakes you up because it realizes that if (you)'re awake, then your body should be awake, starting the process to bring (you) back.
Simply remind "yourself" that (you)'re in control, and that it's okay for your body to sleep while you stay awake.

I don't know, I still haven't managed to do it
still stuck in this crap. the moment I notice I'm dreaming I wake up, it's so fast not even enough time to rub hands or spin
is there some type of filter to prevent me from achieving lucidity

Interesting pic does dream have anything to do with DNA rewriting ?
