Lower classes way of talking

Why do lower classes always speak like shit?

I notice this in my home country (in latin america), where I honestly have troublea sometimes understanding what cleaning people or gardners and such people say, and in 99% of the cases they were born probably like 10 minutes away from where I was.
Its literally easier to understand someone educated from another country (who also speaks spanish of course) than these dudes.

I also noticed that it happens with black people in general in the US, also with the gypsies or lower classes of Spain.

Why does their language (and accent) evolve to the point that you have hard times understanding despite talking literally the same language?

The most intelligent are people that come from the lower classes that learn to mimick the higher/intellgesia classes (ie stalin). Proletarian language is focused on stuff in reality.

i've found speaking like you're educated gets you better treatment
    >yo can we hurry it up
you'll just have to wait, sir
    >would it be possible to expedite this process?

not being taught or caring about conjugation because your family doesn't care either growing up. Also actually it's easier to talk with a "thick accent" than annunciation. Also in some subcultures you're just a complete homosexual if you speak properly. Oftentimes slang and manners of speech that aren't "proper" are generally "cooler" than strictly prescriptive use. For example slang from urban black people has consistently entered the general American lexicon for at least a century. There are now twitter shitlibs and non-americans who use what used to be the regionally southern terms "ya'll ain't". In terms of not being able to literally understand them, you might just be a complete homosexual

I get your point but I feel like if you say something like the second sentence you will just be mocked tbh

I will never understand why white people adopt black expresions, its so fricking cringe and forced its unbelievable.

Also I do understand most of the times poor people in my country (except those frickers that speak with an extremely closed accent and fast af)

But I also am fluent in English, and when listening to a news channel for example understanding everything is a piece of cake.

But when I visit America and hear blacks talking at a gas station using these moronic expressions plus their naturally weird voice its much easier to get lost.

Idk, maybe there's a lot of trailer trash and working white people out there that relate more to what's going on in black urban stories than whatever evola-nietzche middle class crap youre trying to spew around randomly

        >Black Rednecks and White Liberals
        >The title essay states (Thomas) Sowell's thesis about the origins of the "black ghetto" culture.
        >Sowell argues that the black ghetto culture originates in the dysfunctional white southern redneck culture which was prominent in the antebellum South.
        >That culture came, in turn, from the "Cracker culture" of Welsh, Highland Scots, Ulster Scots, and border English or "North Britons," who emigrated from the more lawless border regions of Britain in the eighteenth century

I don't know about down in Latin America, but here among the blacks in the US, talking in their vernacular comes to be seen as a part of their identity, such that a black person who makes an effort to speak proper unaccented English ends up being seen as an "Uncle Tom" or sellout, and is thought less of by his fellow blacks.

Great information, didn't know it was like that there.

In latin america its not that much like that. Cultural and ethnic borders are much more difused and identity is more connected to the region you are from rather than race.

Of course the higher the race, the better they talk and the whiter people become in general terms, but thats another issue.

Literally only californians and the highest eschelon of homosexuals from like Delaware sound like this. White people from New York City sound like Joe Peschi, from Philadelphia they sound like those two frat aliens from Aqua Teen Hunger Force who's "dad owns a dealership", from Maine and Massachusettes they sound like crab fisherman and most of the rest of the country including the so called midwest like Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas sound like varying degrees of "The South"

Less of a need to communicate the ideas of the level of complexity higher class people communicate regularly leads to the sociolect lower class people use emphasizing the easiest way to communicate simpler ideas, instead of emphasizing clarity in communicating more complex ideas.

Perhaps. More straight forwards and to the point lol.

I like that for example somd asian languages are so little straight forwards when talking they have literally caused plane crashes.
Maybe pilots should be trained with these dudes lol.

Poor c**ts can't understand educated c**ts I can assure you that.
You mention a single word that is not in the vocabulary of a 8yo and their fricking brain melts and just try to play like they understood what you just said, when in reality they can't even comprehend basic texts

I live in the UK and there's a distinct difference between regional accents and the generic "chav" accent. Regional accents tend to have their own slang and playfulness which offsets the non-standard grammar and harsh sound. Generic chav accent is more similar to American ebonics and may have actually predated it according to Thomas Sowell and the guy who wrote "Cracker Culture".

    >the contractions are the "correct way"
I imagine the contractions came about because the "lower classes" abbreviated the "correct way". I also notice that they forgot the apostrophe in "can't" in number 2.

While I do believe there's a "wrong way" to speak, I think the amount of policing people do is pretty moronic. Before, there were people trying to force Latin rules into English like not splitting infinitives or other moronation like not ending sentences with prepositions. Or even saying European languages other than Latin were for the lower class (which then later switched to French in some places and so on, always a sliding scale).
