Looking for some good loafers. Any brands besides solovair that I should check out?

come on dude. you could do way better
literally just the basics:
Carmina, TLB Mallorca, even Meermin
your money will go way further if you buy from an actual shoe brand
something in the same price range would be Septieme Largeur. They have a good selection of different loafers under $300, and they’ll definitely be better
Crockett and Jones Cavendish are much more comfortable than the Alden’s in my opinion. They also have a black shell cordovan if you aren’t a fast food cook.
C&J is way better bang for buck than Alden’s, but their heel is often pretty long and narrow for most models which is why their loafers seldom suit me personally.
Is that an american thing? To me it’s the opposite, I mostly wear no socks/hidden socks and so do most bankers and lawyers etc in my country.
If you do wear socks wear normal ones, wearing cropped socks with leather loafers is haram.

Alden is THE loafer company as far as I’m concerned, but it’s double the price in your screenshot.
I was a stubborn fool for many years before I caved in and shelled out for some aldens. Now I have to stop myself from buying a 4th pair of loafers
I know deep down that even with my Chesney, Carmina and Meermin loafers I’ll never truly be happy until I have the Alden loafer in shell

DBC, shiny plastic PU leather

Alden LHS
What’s with the loafer shilling recently?
Teens leaving high school/college and realizing there’s more than just sneakers. This happens every year around this time
My bad I meant starting.
Zoomers growing out of sneaker culture and millennials starting to make money and can afford nice clothes
Summer is loafer season
I have a pair of Rancourt full strap loafers I love, and a pair of Allen Edmonds I don’t love as much but they’re still decent.
Are Sebago good? With regards to loafers and their shoes in general.
Socks or no socks with these. What’s your opinion
Always socks, men not wearing socks is dated at best and it will be easier on your feet if you wear decent socks.

>size 6.5 mens
>no loafers in my size
manletism is truly suffering
Loafers look comfy, could I wear them with black chinos?
Yeah they pair really good with chinos
For me, it’s the Patrick Cox’ loafers.
