>bro just install aspnet.core.all bloat to the project instead

And this thing is so difficult to connect to sql server. In java you connect to a db in seconds.

      >the convoluted way to connect to their own stack db, sql server
in java you connect to psql withing minutes, since spring dependecies actually work
      >the whole package manager
in java you just add shit to pom or download the jar... try offline install in dotnet
      >add package from vs nugget
      >dotnet restore
      >random problem
      >need to unload and reload project to it go back to working

Fair enough. It's pretty uncommon for me to not be online during development, but I could see that being a pain point for others.

hey, i was just toying around with .NET 6 earlier
its syntax is so comfy (i have been toying around with spring boot too), but it's so annoying how everything seems to have a lesser known way of doing it on linux
i am there self-signing dev certificates or trusting some guy from stack overflow to write a proper connection string
are there any docs that cover most .NET stuff on linux? i'd rather use spring boot, but i need to use it for a few classes
