        > A 5th century Buddhist philosopher
        >Nāgārjuna (c. 150 – c. 250 CE) was an Indian Mahāyāna Buddhist thinker, scholar-saint and philosopher. He is widely considered one of the most important Buddhist philosophers.[2] Jan Westerhoff considers him to be "one of the greatest thinkers in the history of Asian philosophy."[3]

His date of birth is disputed.

Theravada is mostly right, but it posits that gods can die. They can't - they are emanations of the Supreme, and thus are unable to die except when the universe inevitably collapses at the end of Brahma's Day and the new one is made. You can literally pray to prior manifestations of the same overall God (i.e. Vishnu) who had a different name in the previous kalpa.
E.G. in this kalpa, we are on the 7th Manu (Vaisvata Manu, the current progenitor of this version of humanity). The first Manu, Svayambhuva Manu, was directed by a different Vishnu avatar named Yajna

Ambedkar was right about Islam. What he got wrong was his tendency to paint caste politics across India under a single uniform brush. Sure, you had places like Travancore in the south and Rajput kangdoms in the northwest which were caste-obsessed nutcases (especially Travancore). But then, you also had places like Bengal and the future Tamil Nadu where caste wasn't as autistic as he made it out to be. E.G. in Tamil Nadu, the Brahmins were mostly dirt poor village priests outside a few isolated urbanized peoples. Today, the vast majority of violence against Scheduled Castes (i.e. Dalits) in India is perpetrated by Other Backward Castes (i.e. Shudras, Vaishyas, and lower-importance Kshatriyas), not General Castes (Brahmins and higher importance Kshatriyas). In fact, Brahmins are some of the most Westernized people in India outside of religion.

Seethe chuddist, the varna system was never actually applied in society and law until the British Raj, even then it's meant to be an interdependent description of societal organization. Obviously you can't survive without your feet chopped off and bleeding out same way you can't survive without your head. Chopping off your thighs (killing merchants) also makes your feet (the artisans who trade through those merchants) useless.

The Jati system was initially a medieval guild system (hence why it's infinitely more complex than the varna system and organization tracks with historical kingdom boundaries). It was never meant to be RESTRICTED to birth, but Islamic invasion deurbanized Indian society and made it more conservative - resulting in the crystallization of jati into strict birth-based lots in life.

He doesn't. Consciousness is atman. Theravada Buddhism doesn't deny consciousness nor super-consciousness which is the same in essence.

That's the thing you see, gods are special - they are above humans. It is through their grace and intercession that we can get closer to the ultimate truth behind everything. If they die, that would mean they are just like us - flawed beings.

Buddha was not anti-Brahmin. He was anti-discrimination - but distinctly within a Hindu context. Buddhism as a separate ideology was born of men corrupting his words.

Yeah, Brahminism isn't Hinduism - in fact, it isn't even real. What the Buddha railed against was manmade elitism in religion, brought about by basedvilization

The Devas are the ones who intercede to bring us closer to God. Through yoga (e.g. tapas) and jnana we get closer and closer to the divine

Hinduism is inherently racist and classist.

            >Devas
Hindu superstitions. Buddhism doesn't require intercession. One's liberation is contingent on one's own efforts.

Richest people in India are Vaishyas to this day. They're 3rd on the typical pyramidal ranking of varna (not that I agree with a hierarchical description in the first place).

Without the grace of God obtained through their own endeavors, humans have no chance of achieving moksha in this lifetime
