>I love staring directly at a flashlight for hours on end because white text on a dark background is LE BAD
the real chad move is to have good ambient room lighting, decrease the monitor brightness as much as possible, and take 20 seconds every 20 minutes to stare at something 20 feet away
fuck that buy a 7000$ Eink monitor
it's been on the wishlist for a while now. i make decent income but a $1900 monitor is just too much. considering i have 2x 27" 2k 144Hz IPS panels i found on sale for $350 each
It’s not like black is made by turning the light off, black is made by equal levels (100%) of RGB light.
>black is made by equal levels (100%) of RGB light.
Let me guess, you believe in black light?
>what is a backlight
>what is a blacklight
I can see syntax highlight colors way better in dark mode. also readability in dark mode doesnt feel worse to me, maybe if you have small font size? I haven't looked at thr studies if light vs dark but if they were done in paper cards it might be different for screens.
black is made with less light, equal light levels at 100% is white (additive colors). in painted things where the absorption of light gives colors (subtractive) its the other way around
What colour is the back light?
>black is made by equal levels (100%) of RGB light.
are you retarded
rgb(0,0,0) is black
so yes it is made by turning the light off
Turn off your monitor
>I love set my monitor brightness to 100%
-Lower your brightness you fucking 60 iq retard
-looking at light, whether artificial or natural is not bad you fucking ape we are diurnal animals we are supposed to look at light, even blue eyed snow nagger can do it without problems
-The real issue with looking at a screen is distance, stop looking at eat so close to it, this is why books where "bad" for your eyes too, stupid retards putting it close to their nose
>your main priority as a coder is to minmax how quickly you can read text
ok
>directly at a flashlight
kek you zoomers are fucking hilarious
you think having a darker color will protect your eyes in any way? lol
ok
now post yours.

based
if dark mode was better, all books would be like this
dark mode books like that cost way more than light mode books, because dark mode is superior
I've noticed my eyesight has improved by switching to light mode during daylight instead of using dark mode 24/7.
>(fight me)
