I've been thinking about this a lot lately. My whole life I've been scrutinized heavily for my height and it's definitely taken a toll on my own self perception and confidence. High school sucked, I was alone and friendless. Same with college. This past year I've been focusing exclusively on myself and managed to improve myself greatly both physically and mentally. I went from being skinny fat to decently muscular to the point where I receive compliments frequently. I've developed hobbies and made friends and actually got myself a small social life with potential for more in the future. I'm doing well but I still haven't made it with women. I've managed to learn how to flirt and escalate sexual tension in conversation, but it always ends up being all for naught because I inevitably get rejected for my height. "You would have been great if you were 5 inches taller" is the usual response I get
It's just frustrating to see women fawn over some 6ft dude (with no personality or who acts like an animal with no boundaries or respect for others) just because he's tall. Tall privilege is real. People, especially men, get treated like shit regardless of any other positive traits they may hold. It also impacts how you're treated and promoted in the work place
If I were to get surgery I'd gain roughly 2.5 inches to my tibia. I think that would be enough to reach a social "cutoff" especially when combined with some minor height boosting shoes. I'd look about 5'11" combining all these
What I really need to know is how damaging will this be for my legs and back? Will I ever be able to run and bike confidently again? Will there be stretch marks in my legs and will the scars ever fade?
And lastly should quit this whole plan and seek therapy instead?

The doctor is a mutant whose legs grow a few inches a month. He cuts those inches off and gives them to his patients. Then they regrow and he's ready for another round.

More or less 6 figures is enough to attract a femoid, not like they have any method of discovering the exact value. I
From what I’ve read leg lengthening entails several years if not a lifetime of pain. You’ll probably never have the mobility of someone that hasn’t had the same procedure done. A rope is cheaper.. just saying

There’s nothing wrong with the idea. If you legitimately have reason to believe your quality of life would be higher with leg lengthening surgery, and you have the money, then do it. I recommend picking a European doctor and going the external fixation route; do about 2.5 inches on your tibias and call it a day. Until then, start wearing elevator shoes that give you an extra 2” boost.
People are going to speak out their ass about the risks and shit, but they don’t know what they’re talking about. As long as you don’t go with some Indian or Turkish doctor, you’ll be fine. Watch Cyber4life—he makes good videos on this stuff.
Just listen to your gut and commit to whatever it says. Indecision is worse than wrong decision.

      >There’s nothing wrong with the idea.
There is everything wrong with the idea. The fact that OP is fixated and neurotic over height is more likely evidence that his issue is primarily psychological rather than physical.

      >If you legitimately have reason to believe your quality of life would be higher with leg lengthening surgery, and you have the money, then do it.
Considering the opening post, there is no way for him to ascertain how it would effect his quality of life because he is clearly not able to be neutral about the issue.

      >I recommend picking a European doctor and going the external fixation route; do about 2.5 inches on your tibias and call it a day. Until then, start wearing elevator shoes that give you an extra 2” boost.
Do you have any qualifications to even assess this patient? Really? You have never performed a history or physical assessment on this person and somehow you have an idea of what sort of recommendation should be given if at all?

      >People are going to speak out their ass about the risks and shit, but they don’t know what they’re talking about.
You don't know what you are talking about.

      >As long as you don’t go with some Indian or Turkish doctor, you’ll be fine.
      This statement is simply retarded.

      >Watch Cyber4life—he makes good videos on this stuff.
All I could find was a video game streamer with a bunch of Naruto shit on his Twitter?

      >Just listen to your gut and commit to whatever it says. Indecision is worse than wrong decision.
So will you take responsibility if OP ends up having to use a walker because one limb has unequal growth?

Delusional. You grossly overestimate the effect of height and underestimate the amount that other factors contribute to failing. I'm the same height with a fiancée. You are just a failure of a human being.

            >You grossly overestimate the effect of height and underestimate the amount that other factors contribute to failing
            You're grossly underestimating the effect
            >you get bullied in school for your height
            >you get discriminated against women for your height
            >your likelihood of being offered a job/promotion increases with your height
            >you are constantly being bombarded on social media because of your height
            >you're more likely to be mistaken and treated as a kid because of your height
            >you're less likely to be taken seriously because of your height
            >you're less likely to make friends easily because of your height
            >you're at a severe disadvantage in most sports because of your height
            >even your victories like being able to build muscle and look good quickly are criticized and played down
All of this compounds through years of your life and takes a direct toll on your confidence and self worth. Yes, you can still win in the end and marry a gorgeous women and live a happy life, but it's significantly harder when you're constantly being kicked because of something out of your control. By being short you can't just exist and get by, you have to fight every day otherwise you'll be ignored, shamed, and mocked by the ones you thought cared for you the most. You must compensate by becoming the most interesting person in the room, and even then, the tall guy will win in the end because of the power he exerts. Humans are awful creatures and sometimes you have to do awful things to gain an edge or even get to the same level (heh) that everyone else is on. Why are you so against the idea of eliminating a source of pain and discrimination at the source? You're not running from your issues, you're directly confronting them

Thanks for the actual advice. Cyber4life is a very helpful resource. I think the best course of action for me right now is to try elevator shoes and see if the issues I'm facing are were a result of my actual height and not me being a bitch

Not only is OP not wrong, there's actually a nonzero chance this becomes an actual standard raised in the dating market if things get much worse, like how basically every guy who has looked into how to do better in the modern dating shithole now knows what mewing is, this is just a far more extreme example that exposes just how insane things have gotten.

Unless you are actually so short than you need it (like below 5’2 or something ridiculously unfortunate)
No. You will basically have to relearn how to walk and never be at quite the physical level you were at before. Besides having longer legs comparative to your torso actually makes you look more feminine and a little less attractive if women is your concern.
I get it, it’s not fun being short, I’m 5’8, all my friends and family tower over me, my brother is 6’1 to add salt to the wound but it doesn’t matter as much as you think if you just learn to looksmax and improve yourself in other ways. Don’t listen to blackpilled doomers about height being everything. On dating apps, sure it matters more because women can select for it but irl it’s not as bad. Even if it is, wear slightly taller shoes, have good posture, better haircut. Loads of visual tricks you can use to give the perception that you’re taller

I am almost exactly the same as you, OP. I’m 27, make 99k/yr, 8/10 face, 3pl8 bench, 2pl8 overhead press, 180 lbs, etc.
I’m 5’7.25” at night and 5’8” in the morning. I plan on doing 2.5” on my tibias to be just short of 5’10, then 3” on my femurs a couple years later to be 6’1. People concern trolling about the long term effects are full of shit; plenty of people have done it and recovered 100%. I personally know a Swedish martial artist who got 3” done on his tibias and is competing on a national level rn.

      >People concern trolling about the long term effects are full of shit; plenty of people have done it and recovered 100%
The more I look into this the more plausible this surgery seems. From what it looks, getting the Precice method done is the safest and allows for the fastest recovery. It's the most expensive but it's not unmanageable especially if done in non American countries
It's funny. Taller people and trolls always clown on us for something outside of our control, and now that we have the means to do something about it their natural defense is to call us insecure, downplay the benefits of being tall, and make fun of us for our "t-rex arms" or spending a lot of money on "nothing"
Imagine having the status and confidence of a tall person but with the grit and resilience of a short person. I understand now why god had to nerf us

    Where do you live?

I'm Latino in the Southwest, 5'8 and have had sex using reddit mainly and lesser known apps

What is your goal? To "slay" as autists on looksmaxx.org put it?

Maybe you just need to move

You could still gain some height, like wear high tops like pic related from h&m and throw a 1 inch lift in there

I mean if you spend all that money on surgery do you think you'll be able to get a woman or will you find something else to try and "fix"

Also you might get taller but your mobility might be compromised in the event that you get into a fight one day

If I were you I would just get a remote job and travel abroad in SEA and LatAM and just fuck bitches there easily

I mean if you're a sperg though then looksmaxxing can only take you so far

I haven't gotten LL but I've gotten a transplant and some facial work done, nothing too big though, just buccal fat removal and dental stuff

You could just use that money you're gonna spend on LL and geomaxx and coom in foreign qts or foreign pay to play

Leg lengthening is going to cause serious spinal issues in later life. You will probably have issues with balance immediately after the surgery. Your body is an ecosystem, not a toy. But go ahead and do it so we can all laugh at you in ten years.
