I have budget suede in black, i’m ok with it, but looking back, the things to look for in a leather/suede jacket are:
1 Make sure that the arms openings aren’t too low (when you raise your arms, does the whole jacket go with it?)
2 Size down, so the jacket takes its final shape on your body.

I usually wear L, but most those jackets fit me in M. also 8 of 10 of them have so loooong sleeves.
so anyway i had to size down because of the sleeve length.

I have a similar leather jacket with that sort of high knitted collar that does not entirely convince me, thoughts on that?

I’ve always thought Y2 Leather jackets are hecking sick, but since I also wear selvedge denim and leather boots, I’m afraid of going down the larper valley if I eventually get one

I’ve had a lot of Wilson jackets over the years. They are not very high quality, but they are cheap and acceptable, especially if you are new to leather jackets. I don’t think it is worth paying full price, just get one second hand for cheap off eBay. When you’re ready for a real jacket then get something actually nice.

Best brand for vegan leather jackets? I’m a vegan but generally most vegan leather jackets look and feel like shit. It’s a shame.

That is because they are shit. And so are vegans.

You’re not paying for the slaughter of the animal new either. They’re going to get killed for their meat regardless, leather is a byproduct of that that gets used to make things. People aren’t killing cows and horses just to skin them and make leather.

I love those leather mille miglia jackets but I’m a European who only went to football matches a handful of times and I’ve never been a hooligan so I’d feel kinda larpy. Even when you buy them vintage they’re quite expensive but they’re the best jackets ever made in my opinion what do you guys think?
