Anyone around Southern Indiana hear that? My friend lives 3.4 miles from where I live and he got some of it on video. vid related, https://youtube.com/shorts/Zn4g8YWspOo?feature=share
Kind of just sounds like gunfire in the video, but it came from the sky, and there was a constant roar along with it. It went on for about a minute, and sounded kind of like a legit battle, just in the air, with an accompanying roar, and able to be heard from miles away just as clearly as here. It was just as loud here where I live as it was where he does. So not gunfire, or car backfires, or anything like that. Either meteorite on reentry, or a flight of jets breaking the sound barrier. I was legit waiting for a flash of blinding light, I thought it meteorite of ICBMs on reentry. Kind of sounded like maybe it was travelling sort of east to west, but not sure. Definitely sounded to the west though, so more in the direction of Illinois.
I swear on my life this is legit.
meteorite OR ICBMs
holy shit a bunch of explosions just flew over my house
literally
JUST HEARD MORE OF THEM!
dude, a legit chance of outgoing nukes or something else crazy, with a literal video, and nobody gives a shit about anything but identity politics. this site fucking sucks.
Seek christ gents, something big is coming.
Bump. I often wonder if there was a civil war how would i even know? Maybe theres a white nationalist revolution going on that the fbi doesn't want me to know about? That would explain allot and the french yellowvest media blackout is precedent.
bump you mongs. something crazy just happened for real and all you want to talk about is suicide and video games. im done with this place
for contect, here is what rockets sound liek on re entry. 1:39 . The roar was clearly audible in person just now.
have a bump
thank you! shit had me worked up man. Old /misc/ would've been all over this. The follow up boom that happened like 30-40 minutes later was just one big boom from what I heard. Sounded further off though.
do you know of any bases near you? it almost seems like it could have been a jet going supersonic, but that's pretty rare to do at low altitude, and over residential airspace. what time did you hear it? I want to check flight radar.
you know, now that you mention it, Ive been hearing odd booms tonight. it's not fireworks, and it isn't thunder. it's irregular, and short. I've heard probably 4-6 so far. until this thread, I had put it down to thunderstorms. and I'm not anywhere close to you.
Nothing ever happens
Bro that was just thunder clouds
no, it's completely clear here, not a single storm within literally hundreds and hundreds of miles. Plus it went on for around a minute, and had a clear accompanying roar along with it. I've heard the shuttle on re entry, it sounded like this, just not as a long. I'm in southern indiana and the closest clouds or storms of any kind is all the way in south Carolina.
could have been jets. I did consider that. It would have been a pretty decently large flight of them considering how long it went on for and how many booms there were.
In person it didn't sound like gunfire as much. It kind of did, but it was coming from the sky, had a roar with it, and could be heard just as clearly by friend miles away form me as I could hear it here. I was in the Marines, and also have hunted my entire life, I know what gunfire sounds like. It was similar, but deeper and bassier. That's why I said it kind of sounded like a battle. The booms sounded like actual explosives detonating more than just gunfire.
freaky shit my dude. I think a lot fo people probably heard it and just wrote it off as fireworks or gunfire.
There's also an AFB in illinois not too terribly far from here (Scott AFB). I think it's mainly an airlift wing though, so not a lot of super sonic stuff. But we do get military jets overhead every once in a while. And lots of military helicopters. Those mainly come from Ft.Campbell though.
Check flight aware near your area or one of those sites
it's all clear. Fighters usually don't have their stuff on though.
The only time I ever hear shit like that is when the blue angels practice for an airshow for a week before they have it, idk
Very weird. Have a bump. I'm in eastern Michigan, so kinda curious.
My first reaction is gunfire, but I live in Juarez and that's what it sounds like at night.
i was just out there and idk whats going on but it sounds like shillinkis nagger lighting off fireworks for whatever gay ass reason
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Saturday night fireworks at a local minor league team?
Yea they do stuff like that at high school football stadiums sometimes
No, it was different. Also too late. The roar was especially unique.
you could here it in person. I also don't' live in a city, and as I've said liek 4 or 5 times, it could be heard just as loud miles away as it could be here. And I was in the Marines, and I've been around firearms my whole life. This wasn't gunfire, just sounded slightly similar. The audio from a shitty cell phone video taken from inside of a house isn't going to have all the detail that it had in person. Please use your brain. I am telling you what I heard in person, and he heard it as well. You can believe me, the person who heard it and has no reason to lie. Or you can just assume you know what happened without having even been here.
there's not a single sporting event going on. there were no fireworks. This could also be heard from miles away just as clearly.
well i am quite far from where you are over down in the sticks of indiana, but honestly everyone around here in the city have been extra on edge and it's saturday, so they're doing gay shit
WP is a hop skip & a jump from you
it honestly sounded like its some gay holliday or some shit that has these chigaco naggers popping off their loaded mortars, i heard no "roaring"
This was exciting.
How are aliens supposed to reveal themselves to the general public if you get this excited over unknown sky noises?
On a related note, there have been dozens of explosions that have been heard by everytime in southern Ohio for the last year, many c130 flights every week. Bump for interest
probably construction, they use dynamite (or some such explosive nowadays) to move earth and reshape rock formations to build on
It wasn’t mining or construction, the first I experienced was about 10 miles away, and a friend said that it sounded as if it were underground. He was a lot closer to the source. Who knows, I just thought it was strange and the thread reminded me of it
Ok I’ll give you I have heard some very loud unreported explosions s few months ago. As well as the normal wings cruising the orv in the wee hours.
A
we used to have those mystery explosions here as well. It was some years ago though. I'd hear them a lot when I was out sitting in my hot tub. I think we got rid of that thing like 3 or 4 years ago maybe, and it was a few years before that when I heard them. They even started to make the news.
Could be a barn israelite, one was spotted in Siberia recently. They let out a shrill noise if you manage to fix a flashlight on them

no john you are the demons
I'd say a bunch of meteorite fragments or something came roaring in. Jets still a possibility though.
BTW, I've been having an ultra schizo week or so, and it hasn't just been schizo. Very, extremely, massively huge religious experiences. Seek Christ gents. Please.
also, the roar really sounded like a cargo jet at high altitude or something. There's a UPS or FedEx flight that flies over most nights around 11 or midnight(the booms tonight were too early) and it's always ultra loud, and the roar behind the booms sounded a lot like that. A very strong jet engine sound. But I guess it could have been reverberations from the booms bouncing around the atmosphere or something.
im gonna get off here too btw. I've been doing good about not using this site anymore, but tonight was just too exciting. Being back on here is giving me a sinking sense of dread. lol. take it easy guys. And please. Seriously. Find Christ if you haven't.
>Southern Indiana
Didn't hear anything here in Columbus. Could it be something from Atterbury?
I compained about those here once, they still happen sometimes.
I am in the area and I remember this a few months ago:
https://fox59.com/indiana-news/big-boom-in-southern-indiana-believed-to-be-a-meteor-explosion/
But I didn't hear anything then or now myself.
Top fuel drag cars tonight. The sound echos back from clouds.
