Because God exists, and the way he saw most fitting to manifest Himself to humanity was through the Christin religion. Historically, Jesus Christ only founded one Church, and that Church is the Catholic Church.
Every church claims to be the one carrying the one true church's teachings. So all you did was assert "god real" and "because my sect tells me this is the one true one". I was an atheist for most of my teenage years, but I eventually came to the conclusion that God was a logical necessity for the Universe to make sense, and after reading on Church history and the history of many other religions, I came to the conclusion that Catholicism is true.
That's my answer, I understand if you don't accept it, but it's naïve to call me dumb "because I'm religious", when the vast majority of Nobel Prize winners are religious, the scientific method as we know it today was created by religious men, Western civilization was founded on religious values and institutions like hospitals, as we know them today, were created by the Catholic Church.
Maybe you could consider that answering the most important question in life, which is the existence of God, is not as simple as saying "god not real because many religions and if you disagree you're dumb."
