Wore this combo before the trend, and will keep wearing it when the trend disappears.
I actually prefer oxblood loafers to black ones, but that’s just me

This is the literal opposite of what it looks like when clueless blue collar dudes in their 40s have to dress formally.
98% of blue collar men would literally call black loafers with white socks “gay shoes”

this is such a stupid ignorant post you should probably delete it. you have no idea what you’re talking about
first of all, blue collar people do not dress nice and never do because they think it’s "gay" and they’re too insecure to let anyone think they care about their appearance and how the dress because they’re "not some rich office prick". it’s literally the same concept as black nogs getting mad when one tries to go to college and get out of the ghetto and they’re told they’re "not real black". blue collar dudes dressing nice is seen as not "country" or "privileged" or something
and if they ever do try and dress "nice" it’s almost always a golf polo or cheap button shirt from Walmart. and blue collar dudes think spending money on nice clothes is "gay" and would never spend for nice loafers
      t. was surrounded by blue collar stupids for years in the military and now work for a manufacturing company supporting shop floor employees

I have brown suede loafers and they work with mid-light jeans sometimes.
But sometimes black leather loafers is just the better look.
