Even a teenager can figure out how to use Ableton if they spend 20 minutes just watching a tutorial or reading a guide lmao.

yeah, a lot make shit that sounds like passable music that most people wouldnt complain about and might even like. but pretty shallow listening really.

If you can't make something good with that you can't with any other DAW either. They're all the same unless you have specific needs (which would mean you'd be good enough to something decent in any of them anyway). Live stopped meaningful developments after version 8 so it is behind the times but compared to the more basic DAWs like Logic, Cubase, Protools, etc., it's really capable. Of course those all have their advantages for some tasks as well. For me it's Bitwig - the superior modern DAW.

Is it easier to use than FL Studio?

theres no objective difference, both require minimal dedicated learning and can be figured out just by jumping in and starting to make something

kinda goes both ways; Ableton has a unified interface across all its plugins and tons of useful shortcuts that it shows to you, whereas FL Studio has a clusterfuck of interfaces but it has a very graphical look to it
Ableton is easier to use once you understand a bit, whereas FL Studio is easy to use from the get go but the curve is higher

as someone who has used just about every DAW out there, ableton is the one where things really clicked for me and i actually enjoy using the software to make things. but it also depends what you're making i suppose. reaper/cubase/pro tools were good for more guitar-oriented things like rock/metal and they're the most simple to get to grips with, but ableton is just where it's at for electronic production imo. the workflow just feels natural to me, and it's capable of some really intriciate stuff once you get familiarised. fl studio is by far the worst piece of shit daw i've ever used (and i actually bought that one lmao). the whole arrange view under the patterns system is absolutely retarded in my opinion, and to be honest it's just software for naggers to make 'beats', not music. yes i'm biased. ableton forever

Take the Bitwig pill. Ableton gave up development at version 8 and is now a Push retailer.
