Due to the nature of enshittification, you should always be scraping things you like, using a frontend once they start turning the thumbscrews on the end user and ready to leave once they start turning the thumbscrews on the content producers.
Wow, lil Zoomie, because you and your little friends don't like it, doesn't mean YouTube is dead.
As Gen X, I can safely say things will carry on as per usual, as they did before you tryhards were born.
And before you think I just "abused" you, that is why your generation are such soft cocks.
>because you and your little friends don't like it, doesn't mean YouTube is dead
Yes it does. Welcome to the future old man - you're not in power anymore.
as quality content these days have dried up on all platforms, i've found myself going back to reading books instead and leaving the multimedia experience to screeching kids with a 30sec attention span.
In some ways and not others. It implemented much less sophisticated censorship and just shadowbans certain words, which is why all around the internet even on youtube people say stupid alternatives like 'unalive'. They don't have the same level of AI to filter out edgy/advertiser unfriendly content from going viral. Because of that it feels less corporate and can have more provocative content. For now it still has the kind of soul that youtube lost, but they will probably end up the same.
How about the fact YouTube became shit and more corporate after they removed their classic slogan, "Broadcast Yourself". That was truly the final nail in the coffin for YouTube as a content creator. Personally I wish a widespread team of archivists would collaborate on taking all of the truly useful content from YouTube and find a new platform to reupload it on to preserve it before YouTube either purges it straight up or eventually starts to delete inactive accounts that have such content to be archived. Shame that nobody uses anything or creates platforms such as PeerTube to be used in such an occasion. Something more decentralized using p2p would ensure more longevity in the probability of a centralized platform to be taken down, no longer maintained, etc.
>Google features adblockers for Youtube.... Google owns Youtube..... wtf?

The first decent and non-schizo post I've seen on LULZ today. Nice.

Stretched out, 20 minute long video with little substance. But first, let me tell you about my sponsor.
if it's dead, why is everyone talking about it?
Babies are malding because they can't consume their goyslop anymore
>Our platform is for all types of content, no matter what it is!
