It's probably amazing for productivity given how it's 4 1080p monitors in one but not for gaming especially now that things like RSR exist so even a 6500 XT can crank out 120 FPS at 4K on most PC games instead of some (ie FSR/DLSS).
I have full confidence that the TCL bios manages all the edge cases of resolution/refresh/color depth with no problems. I'm sure they have a dedicated team pushing out fixes for the entire lifetime of the product.
I play competitive fighters not walking sims
I need good response time because I'm a fighter at heart

I wish more games would adopt this well.
Monster hunter rise does a piss poor job with DLSS
I use a 27" that I sit about 2 and a half to 3 feet from, which just fits in the 36 degree viewing angle recommended by THX. A larger screen would serve absolutely no purpose. Of course, my uses are primarily multi-media.
>Do you play videogames on this
Yes. >You certainly don't render every pixel
…why wouldn’t I? Do you leave your second monitor blank when playing games? I either play on 32:9 or 16:9 with two half screen webpages on either side of the game (usually youtube and LULZ)
Display response time will still be dogshit for anything above 60 FPS which is fine for consoles but not for PCs, see

>Do you even have proper HDR, bruh?
lol
no. I game on a shitty Asus ROG laptop from 2014, on seconhand screens (2k, gaming on 1080p)
I have no fucking idea what I'm talking about
When I moved in with a girl I had to condense my stuff, this is my desk now.
>Pop up coffee table >USB extensions for keyboard and mouse >ITX build on shelf only used for games >ThinkPad T470 w/ remote desktop to control desktop for non-gaming things

I want a 42C2 but it won't reach the price point I want
My desk isn't deep enough to use such a large TV as a monitor with acceptable PPD.
Just mount the TV and push back your desk a little.
My desk is in the middle of the room, not against a wall. The space behind the desk needs to be traversable.
I want to mount Illya and have her push back a little iykwim
feet
>developed breasts
>pedophile
Nani?
I only need 1080p resolution but at 165hz, so no a TV won't do.

Kek. Funnily enough the TCL I found on the side of the road connects wirelessly to windows 10 effortlessly.
>TV
>TCL
Lots and lots of spyware and malware, and probably an account needing to track you.
It's cheap and good quality, who cares. All the other TVs spy on you too. Chinese technology is superior now.
>can't do basic router setup to sinkhole the tv
get the fuck off our board
Or I just buy an LG monitor and don't waste my time.
You called it.
He is literally a nagger who can't configure his router.

Thoughts on hisense tv? They offer quite a dexent features for the price was thinking on pulling the trigger on their 55"model
Why the fuck would you connect this to the internet
Do you connect your monitor to the internet?
ive done it and it feels terrible. dont fall for this meme. youre going to need something below 42" at least.
>65 inches
fuck you
nu-TVs are fucking horrendous and the sole reason i own one is for guests/family
pixel density is too shit

Too busy using my 32:9 1440x5120 gigawide curved 240hz gsync 1ms HDR 1000 mini-led beast
Do you play videogames on this? And how? You certainly don't render every pixel, so do you just have awkward black boxes to the sides?

Yes.

Cope
This looks retarded as hell
It's two 16:9 monitors, you're retarded.
>va
no thanks. never again
TCL's new flagship actually giving OLED a run for it's money
https://www.youtube.com/live/9bucCA6iALo?feature=share
So do I hold off on buying OLED, is this still new and niche or what
OLED is shit for anything other than occasional movies in a pitch black room or staring at a "star field" test pattern
I do because I'm cheap and i didn't want to buy a monitor because I have a tv but i don't watch tv channels , i don't even have the antenna plugged
TV have abysmal input delay they are godawful as monitors
Are you living in 2005? Get out of LULZ
You're the one out of your element, phoneposter.
lol what are you on about? They have low latency now.
LG C2
And that's s bottom of the barrel one
Input lag and nonstandard subpixel make it a bad idea.
waiting for 65" 8k 120Hz
please do not use a fuckhuge tv as a monitor
>TVs have input la- ACK
Display response time will still be dogshit for anything above 60 FPS which is fine for consoles but not for PCs, see
I get 6.7 ms @ 4k 120Hz, is that ok?
It's 55 inch Sony TV.
>I get 6.7 ms @ 4k 120Hz
>is that ok?
no
Idk 7ms input lag seems fine to me, doubt you can even notice it.
>t. non-gamer
opinion discarded
Sour grapes.
Do you even have proper HDR, bruh?

yes that's fine for everyone who isn't larping as a an eportsfag
haven't owned a tv for over 10 years. Not gonna start now
I'm poor
When I moved in with a girl I had to condense my stuff, this is my desk now.

Pretty comfy, don't miss the desk
>When I moved in with a girl I had to condense my stuff
Based cuckshedder
I had a similar set-up once. Before working in tech
wfh would probably kill me if I had that today
Are those cat scratches or do you just not wipe your counters?
4:2:2
what meme is this? any modern tv supports 4:4:4 now
>60Hz
Dam, this thing was almost perfect. ALMOST.
Anything over 27 inch is a waste of time unless you are doing ultrawide 1440p or 4k which most GPUs can't handle.
fuck off gamer retard, this isn't LULZ yet you can't even conceptualize using a computer as anything but a toy
>Six figure salary in tech literally coding
>Dad works at Nintendo
Ok fag
You say that, yet you still use it as a toy
NTA but I regularly use my gayming laptop for my 3d scanner
No.
