It takes 15 years to be a doctor in america. Thats why healthcare is so expensive. Any job should only take 2 years maximum of education. You don't need everything to be in your head anyway you can just use google on the job.

Weirdly enough other countries manage to do it just fine. See Cuba and the Soviet Union.

Would you trust your surgeon after only 2 years of school? I rest my case

Robo-surgeon does not need 2 years, let alone 1. It only needs a few visuals feeds of the past decade and a health analyst for liability/maintenance.

People aren't going to trust robot surgeons, just like how they aren't going to trust self flying planes (even though planes practically fly themselves nowadays). There needs to be a human backup to assuage people's fears, and most people prefer an older white male to be that backup.

Fair point, but when you have been shuffled around the med system like I have. You begin to realize that they are people at the end of the day and not gods. I trust them even less each time.

We live in a society of consent. If people want a surgeon with only 2 years of school then so be it. It's humane eugenics, both of genes and market forces.

Surgery requires precise hand movements and comes with lots of practice. The book learning about anatomy you could fit into 6 months of on the job training.

Tldr - medicine is a racket

you don't need masses of surgeons in fact I would claim a society having a army of surgeons doing unnecessary operation is deeply fucked. No you just need normal doctors that have the time to listen to their patient and administer the right treatment that doesn't mean pushing pills/opioids on them.
There is enough money given how much overpaid medical products are its a insurance scam in the end of days.

Yes. They should be allowed to do at least simple surgery after 2 years.

yes, i'd take 2 years of on-the-job training vs a paper degree

The people who decide who can become doctors are practicing doctors.
The people they allow to become doctors directly impacts their income.

If you aren’t retarded you don’t even need to go to a doctor most of the time. Google your symptoms, find out the treatment. Also don’t do shit that is unhealthy. You can get “fish” antibiotics everything from amoxicillin to azithromycin. It wouldn’t be so expensive if fat homosexuals and hypochondriacs weren’t clogging up the system with their dumb bullshit.
For every 9 healthy people there is 1 person with so many ailments it costs more than 100 healthy.

True but they still force you to get a prescription from a doctor for simple things like antibiotics and antivirals. Another big thing wrong is prescriptions, people can self medicate without needing a doctor whose just guessing to list a random number for the amount of a drug you can take.

I feel like there are a lot of "gate-keepers" in higher-education that take the form in "harder" classes that shit-test the students work ethic, willpower, and overall intelligence.
As a mechanical engineer the gate-keepers were:
Calculus 2 (integral Calculus) (1st year students)
Ordinary Differential Equations (2nd year students)
Mechanics of Materials (2nd years students)
    Dynamics (2nd year students)

Most people I know who dropped engineering dropped from these classes or had to retake.
Students who dropped from these classes were usually there because they wanted an engineer's salary, but were lazy or cheaters that failed their tests.

There is a lot of other bullshit classes I had to take that I probably could have read a text book and learned a lot quicker on my own, but University is a business and it's the only way to get accredited in the US to work and an engineer.

How is calculus a shit-test? If you're working with materials, I'd damn well hope you know to integrate.
Even if you don't use it in day to day life or even day to day work, having that baseline understanding is like having muscles you can retrain with speed instead of having to learn it on the spot.

Which is bullshit. They can be MD just in 7.5 years. U.S. doctorate is so joke they cannot use it in Germany or Finland and have to bear the regular Licenciate name. Here doctorate really takes about 9 years full time.

The 10 comes from fact U.S. want "recidency" of 3-5 years

most of the ills of medical field are outside the influence of doctors themselves, and come from extremely kiked fields like the pharmaceutical industry, insurance industries, etc.
the only exception to this are doctors who co-operate (no pun intended) with them closely and disgrace the medical profession with judaic greed
