Well, I know they don’t look clear with the socks. I see it more as a way to show off some of the cool socks I own, as well as change the colors of the shoes on a daily basis
I like this color combo better. The brighter colors work better than the muted ones.

I wouldn’t say that. Depends on what else you wear. If you’re ONLY wearing shoes and socks then I think making them pop with a little color is what you should do. It elevates the "naked man in shoes" look.
