This is the biggest metal fest in the country. Thinking about traveling but is it me or is the lineup kinda crappy? Biohazard as headliner? Fear Factory has a new vocalist so it's a bit of a scam, plus Lamb of God is such a cookie cutter band. Is this even worth it?
Is this lineup kinda weak?

Keep in mind it costs 400 dollars for all 3 days also making it the most expensive music fest in the United States.
Twice more costly than Hellfest with 3 times less bands. I fucking pity the Americans, you guys live in Sodom and Gommorah.
>Keep in mind it costs 400 dollars for all 3 days also making it the most expensive music fest in the United States.
Wow, that is a ripoff.
maybe lollapalooza would be more your speed
Lollapalooza also costs 200 bucks for 3 days and at least you get a Metallica set.
>Crowbar
>Revenge
>Goatwhore
>Morbid Saint
It's fine what do you mean?
It seems kinda all over the place with what crowd this is trying to please
There's elitist death metal, "big name draws" that no one other than casuals and boomers listen to, also a bunch of core bands whose main audience are likely to be scared off by the rest of the lineup(and the pricetag)
Also how is this the biggest metal fest in the country? It's been 2 decades since the last one and shit like Maryland Deathfest blows it out of the water
Amazing the amount of bands on this lineup that were also played '98
>Deeds of Flesh
Did Eric pull a resurrection or something?
Friday has the best lineup. Biohazard suck as headliners but the other bands are worth seeing.
Weak, but some bands worth seeing. Headliners are a joke, especially Biohazard.
dying fetus is the only band i'd wanna see. maybe napalm death too but i don't know if they're good anymore
Napalm Death is putting out some amazing albums at this stage in their career. They should headline Friday night. They're the only real special attraction, traveling from the UK for a rare show.
Day 1:
Only band I'm truly familiar with is Warbringer. They sound like good Slayer. Not something you listen to more than once a year. Great live show.
Day 2:
Not a single band id travel for
Day 3:
Lamb of God is great live
Machine Head would be cool
Cephalic Carnage is amazing. I wonder if they still have that really good bass player (Alex Scheinzieloius or some weird gypsy shit)
All in all there is about a $100 in value here.
imagine the smell
No wonder they already announced its moving to an open air venue next year.
Metalbros.... It's so fuckin over
I broke my big toe and tomorrow I have a Mayhem show, how do I cope?
