Is this even boymoding anymore?

>be me, boymoder, 20y/o, 2 months hrt
>decide to go to spring day party with a cis bi girl friend, turns out some of her friends are coming as well
>meet her friends, she presents me to them
>she uses my nickname (which is gender neutral) and no specific gendered pronouns, so my gender situation ends up left ambiguous
>her friends end up defaulting to she/her because lmao, call us both "girls", etc
>don't bother correcting them because just tired of being a guy; besides i was unlikely to meet them again anytime soon
>later that night, we end up a moment alone with my friend
>we're just chatting about stuff
>suddenly she asks "hey btw what are your pronouns?"
>ohgodthisisactuallyhappening.jpg
>ask her why she asked
>"idk i just noticed my friends were using she/her and you didn't correct them, so i suddenly realized I never actually asked you"
>end up coming out to her about everything, fortunately she's supportive if a bit awkward about it
>end up having to avoid bathrooms for the rest of the night but it was frankly worth it
I know this reads like a larp but I stg it's not lmao

Stop "boymoding" just go by she/her and girlmode. It’s what you want and what makes you feel better after all, or am I wrong?

      op

      Idk, it's complicated
My goal with hrt was more along hrt-femboy lines but I ended up feeling pretty fine about boobs and have also been thinking more about just girlmoding as well since I think I do actually want it. I do like when people seeing me as a girl, it's been that way for years (long hair + people being dumb has led to people she/her-ing me before), and it makes me happy; but for whatever reason actually taking the plunge and girlmoding feels scary. I feel awkward about it even though I kind of want it. Probably brainworms tbhon but idk, could also be something more complicated

Having someone interrogate you on others using she/her pronouns because she even considered it possible you'd correct them is by definition realizing you're male. You are still being treated as a man, just the deluded variant where people pretend they see you otherwise.

She actually knows my full name you idiot, that's why she regarded me as a guy. She also told me when we initially met between how I looked and how I acted towards her she initially thought I was a girl so checkmate

shut the frick up, they were just curious and being nice. Sure they might not have been 100% convinced OP is cis fem, but asking for pronouns is just a normal thing nowadays. Don’t brainworm the young and hopeful people on here you bitter hon

      Thanks

grats on winning, you can officially girlmode now

have you voice trained at all or have a naturally andro voice?

      >Having someone interrogate you on others using she/her pronouns because she even considered it possible you'd correct them is by definition realizing you're male. You are still being treated as a man, just the deluded variant where people pretend they see you otherwise.
lame bait, pretty obvious the friend was either from before transition or early transition, if the entire group defaulted to she/her its a pretty clear consensus

      >grats
      Thanks!
      >have you voice trained at all or have a naturally andro voice?
My voice comes out kind of andro, I think through a combination of trying to get it to not sound as masculine throughout the past few years (though without doing formal voice training) and just luck. Also I think the loud music helped lmao.
      >pretty obvious the friend was either from before transition or early transition
      Correct!

Yes, that's what the average autogynephile looks like.

Wow the quality of the bait has really fallen this low huh

Cissies also told me this after coming out so seem supportiv or so. When I looked completely male before hrt a coworked told me I act like a woman and only by my action she sees me as a woman which is just some sort of them trying to be supportiv

The biggest tell that you're not a woman is that you don't realize women say things they don't actually mean to be polite.

Once again, you are all demonstrating you're not women. Yes, people who are trying to be cordial are going to lie to you.

And you think literally every single person you've met is somehow just being polite? Do you seriously think there aren't sufficiently committed transphobes out there who would misgender you anyways?
Also a mam moment would probably end up worse for you than for them (if they are even aware of that video; most people aren't terminally online) so I don't even think that rationale actually exists

That's fair, and I understand there are still a bunch of transphobes out there.
But like, back in the 00s when I was in middle school, bullying or humiliating any guy who acted slightly 'homosexual' was the norm, and even stimulated by some adults. It's like everyone was either neutral or on the homophobic side.
I hope stories like yours become the norm rather than exception!

lol when I went to middle school it was kind of like this either. Like, it wasn't as intense, but acting feminine as a guy would still get you mocked and stuff. It's mostly in the past very few years that things really started to turn around I think
