Is this acceptable business attire?

Is this acceptable business attire? If I turned up to an office job or any kind of work where a suit uniform is required, would this be acceptable? I love the idea of a leather suit, I think it looks amazing, but probably wouldn’t get one unless I would get some decent wear out of it. Anyone else have one like this?

So I think I’ve come to the decision that I’m just going to put together a suit like this. I don’t have to wear it out straight away, but I know what I like and I really like this style. Some people have said that it looks too fetishy and I can understand why, but at the same time it still looks sophisticated whilst having some sexiness to it. I’m going to try find a blazer, trousers and waistcoat that will make up a nice 3 piece suit. Think I’ll get some gloves to go along with it as well, though I’ll see how they look with the suit.

Just wondering whether it would go better with boots or heels. I’ll have to try them on with the suit and see.

        Don’t forget the gloves.

We’ll be waiting to see your results.

I agree, the gloves are important.

Definitely, the gloves are essential. I love her outfit so much. Was contemplating getting a bow tie brooch, they look so elegant, I love them. Leather pencil skirt and suspenders are a very nice touch as well.

you’d have to be really hecking good at your job, I’m talking actual genius tier, to get a free pass to wear that
I’m talking about the kind of people getting golden parachute clauses in their contracts, like you’d have to be so hecking good at your job that your employers are willing to do anything to keep you onboard
You’re most likely not someone like that

These two post sum it up.

What is the worst that would happen if I just did it anyway? I know the outfit’s a bit overboard but I genuinely think it looks good. If I saw someone else wearing this I’d only think highly of them for doing so, it’s a good looking suit. Maybe it’s the waistcoat that makes it look a bit excessive but I really like it, especially with a chain to go along with it.

I understand what you’re getting at though. If I was the leading manager or head of a company I probably wouldn’t have a second thought about wearing it, I would just do it. It’s different when you’re lower on the workplace hierarchy.

        >What is the worst that would happen if I just did it anyway?
At worst, you’d get fired. Realistically, you’d get a reprimand and your boss and coworkers would think less of you.
        >it’s a good looking suit
No the heck it is not.

For the love of god please just wear a regular suit to your job

        • Anonymous says:

I don’t think they’d fire me for turning up in that. It’s literally just a suit, the only difference being the material. To me I see no difference between that and say wearing a leather skirt.

          >No the heck it is not
But like, it so hecking is. How anyone else can’t see that, I do not know.

Regardless, I’m doing it. It seems like a more common outfit than what I initially thought. Others clearly think that it looks good since I’ve found a fair few shoots of people in outfits like this. Maybe I’ll post myself on here once I finally get the suit together, whenever that may be.

Alright, it’s your call. But please do share your experiences with it. I’m curious.

          • Anonymous says:

I’ve started looking for pieces of the suit tonight. Will try to get the suit together as soon as I can. Found a few trousers, chains and blazers, not as many waistcoats unfortunately. Hopefully I can have the full thing ready in under a week, or at least before this thread dies. If it does, then I’ll just make a new thread showing it off.

Don’t worry, Anon, I won’t forget the gloves. I’m honestly quite excited, I think it’s going to look great on myself. I was kind of apprehensive about getting one at first, but now I’m thinking just heck it, do it. Won’t know unless I try it out.

It’s almost like everyone else is seeing something you aren’t or something, and not the other way around
Also, to reiterate – you aren’t cool enough to pull it off. Most of the photos you’ve posted only barely pull it off in a controlled environment.

        • Anonymous says:

          >any good domme needs gloves, not just a leather suit
First of all she would need a physique that actually makes her dominant. I have no interest in indulging the delusions of some middle aged lady past her prime who might have the psyche of a dominant, but never applied it to herself to build enough muscle so she doesn’t fly across the room if I slapped her.

          • Anonymous says:

Yeah, she could. But she won’t.
I’d like to be able to switch more, but there just isn’t a lot of dommes out there that are worth subbing for.
I care about three dimensions of dominance: physical, psychological and skills. And with doms you can find people who deliver on just one of these very well and if there are subs who are fine with them being specialized in one of them, but lackluster in others it works.
You have bull-like doms who are all physical. Big, musclar, well-endowed. For the right sub it doesn’t matter that he’s kinda dumb.
You have rope masters or people who just rock with toys whose skills can make it not matter how big or smart there are.
And you those who are just clever and can outmaneuver all opposition in a conversation.

Now with dommes you just don’t have all three dimensions. You have the smart ones and the ones who have skills. But a domme who can actually deliver on at least some level of physicality? Haven’t seen one at any of the parties I was.
For myself I will never be "the best" at any of the three, but I’m able to deliver quite a bit on all of them. And that’s what I want from a domme.

If you bring this up they just throw a temper tantrum "You could have just said that you don’t even want to sub in the first place".
            Pathetic.

That suit would look cool already (waistcoat and chain included) if it wasn’t leather. The leather is like putting too much salt on a food.

  4. Anonymous says:

Just wear a leather jacket over normal clothes. You don’t even work in an office environment that requires suits. That suit is not a good look and even the model can barely pull it off in one still photo.

You will NEVER be taken seriously at your job.
Even if by some miracle you get promoted to higher positions because you’re that hecking amazing at whatever b***hwork you could be doing from home but need to go into an office for anyway – everyone will still think you’re a stupid. People will laugh at you behind your back (or in front of you, I certainly would) and every accomplishment you make will be undercut by people snickering "yeah they wore a hecking leather suit to work and thought it was cool"

Not to mention every time you move you’re going to hecking squeak and it’ll piss off EVERYONE (including you)

    • Anonymous says:

people don’t really care that much lol, the average office space is at least 30% spergs

Ok, since everyone here is saying it’s a bad idea, what about something more like this? It’s a bit more subtle, but still has the same appeal. Though, I personally prefer all the previous ones I sent.

don’t listen to negging homosexuals, go for the suit and enjoy it. The worst you’ll catch is a couple double takes, but you’ll be fine.

      https://i.imgur.com/D0Pxg8b.jpg

So I spent last night looking for everything that I would need for the suit and I’ve found all of it, trousers, blazer, pocket square, waistcoat, chain and pocket watch. The only thing I can’t find at the moment is a nice pair of leather gloves, I’ll have another look for them later. I’ll be ordering everything later tonight.

Not sure whether to wear a blouse and bow with it, thought it could look nice. Or just a shirt and tie. I do have a black leather tie anyway so it would certainly fit with them theme. Blouses do look really nice with waistcoats though.

I think for the tie or for accessories you should work in some silk satin for texture contrast. If the whole outfit is leather down to details it does start looking like leather daddy territory, but a cute silk neck ribbon can soften the look.

      • Anonymous says:

Thank you so much for being one of the few people on here that support my decision. I don’t mind if a couple people double take, so long as I look good in it.

I think a satin blouse would also be a good call. I do like the tie as well though. I’ll try both and see what I like, or just switch between the two. I like the idea of a neck ribbon as well. Not too sure about the colour though, maybe just white to go with the pocket square?

If you have a suit required dress code then it’s a no-go but if you just have a general business casual type environment you might be able to pull it off. I’d do just the blazer though. I have a leather blazer and it’s pretty versatile but I’ve only ever worn it with leather pants for trendy evening situations.

I like the idea of wearing it out for evenings. It’s a very nice look and it would be a real shame if I barely ever get to wear it out.

These one’s are too tight and aren’t really business styled. I much prefer the straight legged ones here

They were part of what I really liked about the suit to begin with. I could always wear both skirted and with trousers.

Speak for everyone else, I think you SHOULD go into work like a classy dominatrix.

Hell, even if it doesn’t work for work attire it’s at least a great casual outfit.

You might get away with a leather blazer in a business casual office, especially if you don’t have a y-chromosome. A full leather suit is probably going to get you a meeting with HR to discuss the dress code and your apparent mental disability. I think you should do it anyway, because boundaries need to be pushed and yolo.

    • Anonymous says:

It really depends on the industry and location. I used to work in entertainment in NY and LA, and basically you can wear whatever you want to an office as long as it’s fashionable. It was really trendy a few years ago to even wear band tees under a blazer to work, but that obviously wouldn’t fly at some pencil-pusher company.

I like the first 3 a lot, especially the 2nd and 3rd ones. Quite like the idea of having a zip running down the gloves too. Unfortunately I’m not based in the US, so I think I would have to pay quite a large delivery fee. I’m gonna try and find something akin to what you sent though. If I can’t, I might end up going with the 3rd pair of gloves you sent. Thank you for your advice.

Dooway (the brand that sells the zippered ones) sells all the same stuff on Amazon.ca, so if you’re in Canada you should be good.

Outside Canada and the US I’m not sure.

But I can’t see this working for a guy though.

I do and it only works if you live in Berlin or some place freezing because leather is very insulative (hot) and you will sweat a lot, especially a jacket

it’s too sexy for the workplace
all the men would be popping wood thinking about her spanking them
